Just in case you've forgotten what I was referring to.

In the context that Folau appears to have posted his original message, adapt it so that it's Aborigines instead of the 8 groups he listed.

Put in a sentence why Aboriginals are going to hell and for what? I'm interested in how you'd word it.
Why cant you focus on what Issy said, homosexuals are going to hell. Trying to frame the argument to suit your bigoted views.
What dont you get?? It’s discrimination

It was a stupid thing to say, but just because he believes homosexuals are going to hell doesn't mean he is not a good person.

I never thought I'd say this but Tai Tuivasa is on the money

Australian UFC star Tai Tuivasa has labelled controversial Wallaby Israel Folau a hypocrite, confirming he's bumped into Folau on a night out and "I know what I've seen that idiot do."

Speaking to News Corp, Tuivasa refused to go into detail about the time he ran into the controversial Wallabies star but said he basically had no right to judge others because he' not perfect.

Tuivasa even replied to one of Folau's posts on homosexuality by tweeting: "You need a hiding. I’ve seen you out blind as a skunk carrying on now you wanna be all churchy.”

When asked to go into detail about how he's seen Folau behave, the UFC heavyweight declined to go into detail.

“I won’t go into detail about what went on, but I know what happened.

“And I know what I saw.

“The guy carried on like a f … ing idiot.

“Yet now he wants to be all righteous and put on a show?

“And maybe he’s changed. Who knows?

“But even if he has, that’s no reason to go around trying to bring other people down.

“Has he even thought there might be young footballers out there following him on social media — kids who are 11, 12 — and they’re gay? What happens to them when they read that at home?

“Suddenly this guy they look up to is saying they’re going to hell. He needs to pull up.”

Tuivasa said he wouldn't be surprised if the rugby star had been indoctrinated with the ultra conservative views.

“The way he’s talking now, it’s like he’s been brainwashed,” Tuivasa said. “His views are extremist.

Folau and his wife were seen at a Little Bay cafe on Friday morning as the former NRL star faces up to having his contract revoked for posting offensive comments.

Folau refused to comment when asked if he regretted what he said in the posts as he got into a waiting car.

****ing hilarious and true.

Hollywood has played a big part in "progressing" society towards less commitment, more partners, less meaning and open sexual relationships.

Religious people holding more traditional values shouldn't be described as regressive, that implies less developed. I don't think a society where sexual gratification is so front and center represents a more developed culture.

That is, when people are openly having sex in the street, in public, and society is patting itself on the back about how forward thinking we are - I don't think it will be as developed a culture.

Refining yourself from a creature pleasing instinctual desires into a member of society is cultured. Again, Hollywood has driven the narrative and normalisation of behavior we want to do because they do it.
Very intelligent post.

The whole YOU CANT SAY ANYTHING THESE DAYS brigade, like any "these days" kinda brigade is dumb as hell. The PC group is terrible, what with their tendency to value correct speech over actions that fix genuine material problems, but yeah, you want to see a bunch of easily offended snowflakes? Find a group of conservatives and whisper "happy holidays" to them and tell me how well it goes.

A short but good read for flogs like Masher.

"The paradox of tolerance states that if a society is tolerant without limit, its ability to be tolerant is eventually seized or destroyed by the intolerant.
Karl Popper first described it in 1945—expressing the seemingly paradoxical idea that, "In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance"

I think his views on homosexuals would go down very well with Collingwood fans i have met.
If he does come back to the AFL that in my opinion would be the club for him.

Yes, someone who goes "hey don't be mean to gays" is worse than someone who goes "gays are people who are going straight to hell". The first person is more intolerant. uhhuh, that makes perfect sense

Too many words for him to understand.

The ARU have handled this perfectly 👏

Which is surprising given they have slowly buried rugby union in Australia into the ground.
That was the most surprising aspect, that Castle, Clyne et al grew a spine suddenly.

As someone that is reasonably young and just recently openly gay that has played Aussie Rules football and follows AFL, League and Union closely as a supporter since I was a kid I find Folau’s comments deeply disappointing and un-educated. In fairness to him he’s not alone.
Well done on Rugby Australia for moving him on as I would find it extremely hard to support a national team that has a player that has views like that.
We all have a right to freedom of speech in this country, but we also have the right to face the consequences that come with those comments.
Comments like Folau’s were the exact reason I struggled with my sexuality through my teenage years and never came out to any of my team mates, family or friends. It made me hate who I was for so long. Even people commenting negatively on forums like this effects people.
Sexuality is not a choice, your born that way. Why would someone choose to go through the struggle of coming out and being gay if they could easily be a heterosexual?
I am thankful for my club and St Kilda for the effort they put into the pride game initiative and hopefully one day we don’t need a pride game because it’s just normal and not a big deal.
I ask people such as Folau who people look up to and respect to make better choices when making comments like he did cause you don’t know who it might affect or how they might take it. Especially knowing there are so many young men out there struggling to deal with their sexuality and find sport as the one outlet that can take there mind off things.

What are your views on Islam? Are you aware of its intolerance towards your homosexuality? Would it bother you to know that is highly likely Muslim Sports stars think what you do is wrong and will also lead to their version of hell they just don't say it on Twitter?

I grew up in a Western Sydney (Giant Territory) in one of the biggest Islamic communities in Sydney. Islam is a very beautiful religion. Some of my best friends are Muslim and open and accepting of me. I believe if you don’t have something nice to say you should keep it to yourself. Maybe it’s a bit of a simplistic view on things but always worked for me.

Well of course they are accepting of you to your face it's not like they are going to punish you (you're lucky you live in Australia). Go and listen instead to one of the Imams teachings at your local mosque.

Islam is a very beautiful religion lol..Homosexuals have been abused, murdered and had their rights destroyed in the name of a religion you call beautiful.. you owe an apology to your fellow Homosexuals who have been abused and murdered under Sharia law in the name of Islam. The same religion you call beautiful - disgusting.
