Football commentators using their platform to talk about horse racing!?

Just wondering if in this PC world gone mad, where people actually cried about sports betting ads being on and got them removed or a fee applied to the offending company playing the ad, and also got live betting being banned if they also see this as a problem?

From Hamish mchlaclan to Bruce mcavaney to Gerard whateley and slobbo robbo. They all promote horse racing and having a punt.

Along with the fta 24/7 racing channel why is this not a problem, but a live betting service is illegal in Australia (for sports, not horse racing. You can live bet on horse racing via the internet).

My question is why isn't this a problem to the same people that have a problem with the betting ads and live betting? It's the pc police gone mad and hypocritical to say the least.

My main problem is that its a faux "sport" and is just a front for betting , without which it would NEVER exist.

Anyone with a gambling problem or who enjoys a bet and had disposable cash in the media does this. Ever heard mark “the penguin” Waugh commentate any cricket??? The speed gun isn’t pointed at the bowlers arm!
