What a blunder by the AFL. We have a far stronger victroian contingent than clubs like GWS, yet we get relegated to Marvel against one of the Victorian powerhouses.R23 Fri 18 August 7.50 Collingwood v Bris at Marvel Stadium
The Age has been updating their online fixture.Has this been reported anywhere or have you got an inside #sauce?
I may be imagining this but didn't the Lions sign an agreement with the AFL that would see them playing the majority of their Melbourne-based away games at Docklands, not long after the ground was opened? I seem to recall the club saying that Docklands would be the club's home ground in Melbourne, or words to that effect. What a blunder by the AFL. Assuming this is right, I've no idea if the agreement would still be in effect, just putting it out there as a possible reason/explanation.

Wait till we play our home games at Metricon during the Gabba rebuild, you wont be getting home until 2am.We have a lot of twilight games scheduled, ideal for me since I live on the Sunshine Coast and at night games at the Gabba I dont arrive home until midnight.
Just on this, I recently calculated that it would take about as long for me to get home via public transport from a game at QSAC as it would Carrara.Wait till we play our home games at Metricon during the Gabba rebuild, you wont be getting home until 2am.
