The more I look at this weeks draw the more I worry about my own tips... there are five games that look really even. I reckon the only teams that are close to certainties are Collingwood, Brisbane and Port Adelaide.

I'm not even that convinced by the Colliwobblers to be honest.

Woohoo! 3/3 so far - thats as many as I got last week :p - and all three were difficult to pick. I expect to be 5/5 in a few hours time... but I won't mind if either Port or Collingwood are upset. :D

I'm envious - 1/3 for yours truly. I seem to have run off the rails!! :(

I'm on only 1 too. Don't think many people would have picked the first 3 matches to be won by the away teams. Esp West Coast -- they usually don't do that well away.

Good call! They were very ordinary tonight. I was very happy with that result. I have a soft spot for Sydney and love seeing Collingwood lose. Collingwood are well down on form and confidence, so its a good time to be playing them next week!

As for tipping I'm 4/5 with Collingwood losing.

SEVEN!

According to footytips.com that's my fourth 7/8 :D (although really only my third since they count the draw as a win). Still can't crack the perfect round...

Meanwhile I've gotten 1/4 in SANFL tipping :(

Congrats on the 7/8 Dave. Excellent effort in a really hard week.

I did the same as last week and scrambled 3/3 on the Sunday to end up with a lousy 4 after being only 1/5 on Saturday night.

I've got to get my act together!!:(

I really do have to get my act together. I got 5 not 4.

I forgot about Pork Powder' win last night. :o

I got five also.

Don't worry about the Pork win, it was THE most forgetable game of footy from the weekend from what I saw.

Nice effort DaveW. Good call on West Coast BTW. Maybe they can be picked away now? Pretty sure Melbourne aren't much chop though this year.

Early look at Round 7...

Kangaroos to beat Hawthorn (50-50)
West Coast to beat Geelong (Very confident)
Essendon to beat Richmond (50-50)
Adelaide to beat Collingwood (Fairly confident)
St Kilda to beat Carlton (Fairly confident)
Brisbane to beat Sydney (Basically 50-50 game though, not confident)
Port to beat Melbourne (Fairly confident)
Western Bulldogs to beat Fremantle (50-50, assuming Freo can't travel)

Another shockingly difficult round IMO.

My early tips are:

Hawthorn vs Kangaroos (no idea at all. Will pick later in the week)
West Coast to beat Geelong (Confident)
Richmond to beat Essendon (Reasonably confident)
Adelaide to beat Collingwood (Confident)
St Kilda to beat Carlton (Reasonably confident)
Brisbane to beat Sydney (Confident)
Port to beat Melbourne (Confident)
Western Bulldogs to beat Fremantle (50-50, based on Freo's travel record)

Hawthorn vs Kangaroos is near impossible to pick. Which Hawthorn turns up - the good one or the pathetic one??? Will the Kangaroos collapse after an emotional week against Carey??

Who knows.

Bulldogs vs Freo. Bullies are a huge chance to finish bottom or near bottom while Freo, a much better side, are a chance for the 8. But can Freo win on the road?

Who knows.

I think there's a fair chance of this topjars.

What worries me is that at the moment we have to play Brisbane at the Gabba in round 8. If the Swans get up then we have to play a WOUNDED Brisbane at the Gabba. :(

add Richmond vs Essendon, thats a toughy, althoug I will pick Essendon, could go either way.

I'm on 35 by the way.

had a shocking round last round (3), but i'm sure
:D this week's winners will be...

Kangaroos (i actually think the kangaroos will play better rather than collapse after losing to carey, uh, i mean the crows)
West Coast
Essendon
Adelaide (hopefully)
Carlton (when was the last time St. Kilda won 3 straight?)
Brisbane (could be close though)
Port
Bulldogs

...the one's i'm worried about are Bris, Adel & Bulldogs - wouldn't be surprised to see an upset in either of these games.

Yeah that would hurt.
I still cant get last years shellackin' out of my mind.
I hope the Crows still hurt from that game and play like they did two years ago...remember that win?

My tips for this week

HAWTHORN to beat Kangaroos (50-50)
RICHMOND to beat Essendon (50-50)
WEST COAST to beat Geelong (confident)
ST. KILDA to beat Carlton (50-50)
ADELAIDE to beat Collingwood (50-50, went with the home team:D)
BRISBANE to beat Sydney (confident)
BULLDOGS to beat Fremantle (confident since Freo can't win away)
PORT ADELAIDE to beat Melbourne (confident)

THis is another tough week for a tipster.:(

Tell me about it. At least I regained the lead in the tipping comp at work even after a lousy 5 last week, taking my season tally there to 37 (they paid 1 for the draw). Fortunately most tipsters at work got 4 or less last week.

6 would be a good result this week.

Yes indeed! :D

Wasn't it Burton who tore em up though? :(

I really feel we are missing him for some spark. Might have been a different story against the paps had he been running around.
