Here's a suggestion as to what 'we' can do. 'We' stop posting ******ed thread after ******ed thread on the eagles board when you don't have the faintest idea what you're talking about.

I'm as much for Carroll bagging as the next person, but did you actually watch any of those games??

In round 1- 4 of Rawlings' goals were kicked on Lynch.
In round 2- Tredrea didn't kick 7 goals, he kicked 5, all on Lynch. Carroll spent th entirety of the game on Thurstans (and had 3.3 kicked on him, in itself pretty bad)
Rd 11- Did not play on Tarrant played exclusively on Josh Fraser. Tarrant was marked by Glass (and kicked 4 goals, not 5)
Rd 13- Played very very briefly up forward. Did not play on defence, Glass was on Rocca (and kicked 3 goals, not 4)

Have you ever watched an eagles game, or do you just like to make ******** up? Not withstanding that, Carroll is a very poor FB and a fringe player, but last time I checked noone was suggesting that he get a game.

exactly, i would rather us draft an 18/19 or maybe a 20 year old, than rather have carrol on the list, becoz if the young fella get 7 kicked on him at least hes learning and developing, carrol is like 26/7??

He just likes to make stuff up. Like the comment in another thread about how Rowan Jones never got more than 18 possessions in a game in 2004 (took me five seconds to debunk that with two examples, and a cursory glance at the club's official site would also turn that up).

Its called not letting the facts get in the way of a good rant. Unfortunately Eagles_Rock wouldn't know a good rant if it bit him on the arse.

Gidday All, My first post and what I can't understand is that people actually bag players in the team that they support....Carroll tries hard, trains everyday of the year or there abouts....May not be up to the same standards as Glass but IMO who else are you going to use in that position if Glass goes down and even if you get a young bloke to take his place he is not going to be ready for some time.....So all you budding experts out there put some boots on and see if you can do any better?

carrol dosnt really do a good job there anyway, at least a young guy can IMPROVE.
If we stuck with Jako, hanson and staker wouldnt have had as much time at chf to prove themselves and proved they could be good in the future or good backup.

And us budding experts are alowed to have an opinion, thats why we voice it here.
