I know it has been talked about a lot recently but our forward line, i feel, is not as it used to be. Lloyd had a good game against Carlton but really had a bay day today, as did Lucas. To be fair on the two big forwards they did not have great delivery to them and no resting ruckman to take a Collingwood forward.
I was really disappointed at the delivery to Lloyd and Lucas, with most passes being kicked too high and out of reach, however Lucas had a shocking day as he did drop a few sitters.
The point I'm getting at is if we don't have a day like today, where the midfield kicked a lot of goals, where will our goals come from this year and more importantly next year.
Hopefully our young kids can step up and bolster our forward lineup.
