My god you blokes are hard to please. Here is a bloke who has been to hell and back to get a game...injured time and again when on the brink of selection... here he finally cracks it for a game and there's barely a word of encouragement for him. Nothing but moaning about Josh Head.
FWIW he is not in any fantasy side I have and he's not a relative but I'm still happy to say as a neutral..

Most of us haven't forgetten. And i for one said congrats to him for coming back into the side. But the Head being named is something every freo supporter doesnt want but has happened :o

So yes Good on you Andrew for being slected and we hope you do well.
 
Well who doesn't love reading a condescending post from an opposition supporter who thinks they know more about Fremantle than their own supporters. I know I do!

Nobody had written Foster off, and very few people would have forgotten him. And if you read the team thread, you would have seen that most people did congratulate him. Just around the Head comments.

On a positive note though, Foster coming back is a huge positive. He's played very few games, but we all know how good he can be. He could be the goal-kicking midfielder we are missing.

Foster is very overrated on this board. Handy little player and no more, kicking isn't great, much like the rest of the team and has done nothing special to deserve the love he gets - much like the useless Kiwi.

While kind of true... the secretary at my old work, well, she used to beat him up (can't be that tough) - he hasn't had much of a chance.

Handy inside mid with no stand out features is how I'd rate him.

I guess Foster's one of a number of players that we praise more in hope than in reality (young, shown some potential and has got to be better than what we've had to put up with). In essence I'm with you Brades, though I'd add that the jury is still out (4 games isn't much to go on), as it is with a good number on our list at the moment, but I've not been THAT impressed. He's got some good things about him, but nothing special at this stage.

Still want him to get some decent run around because this and the next season are where players like him are going to get their big chance and show us what they've got.

All in limerick form,
A little different from the norm.
It may or may not have been that.

Agree with the OP on the whole. It just goes to show the mindset of most of the posters on this board. Look at the negatives first and forget the positives.

Great to see Foster back, I really think he could be a handy player for us. Hope he goes well and gets plenty of time in the middle.

Agreed. Kiwi is a massive hack, dont know why we bother with him tbh. Cant even keep Murph honest.
