POTM should go to whoever made the most important contribution of the match.

The first two days of the test were very even, and the game looked poised for a very tight fourth innings chase of 100-200 on a bowler friendly pitch. Head and Webster’s partnership changed that, and then Carey’s innings put it out of reach of the Windies. Ultimately, those three decided the match.

So the decisive contributions came from Head, Webster and Carey. As Head also scored a fifty in the first innings, he was a deserving winner.
