COLLINGWOOD coach Michael Malthouse says Josh Fraser’s brilliant game against Melbourne as virtually a solo ruckman doesn’t mean he’ll go it alone against the Cats on Thursday night.

He has thrived before in similar situations, but Malthouse plans to revisit the claims of Cameron Wood and Chris Bryan who played VFL on Saturday.

With Ottens now certain to miss next week, would it be a good idea to bring in another ruckman to aid Fraser?

the ruck position could become crucial for us againt geelong, as in previous games Mark Blake has struggled, and we were prob a decent ruckmen away from making the grand final in 2007

Just hopefully we dont burn Fraser out to much early this year, as we are nothing without him

I'd scrap L Brown, Wood and Bryan at this stage and stick Rocca on the bench to pinch hit in the ruck and FF.

the question is does rocca have the legs or the ankle support to do ruck work around the ground these days, id happily leave rocca in the goal square all game
