Our backs our now definitely against the wall.
Our two top midfielders out
Our number one ruckman out
Our second best forward out
and our best forward under done

But all that will do is making defeating your side that much sweeter.
It makes me happy knowing your forward line isnt overaly strong and yo dont have a star half back to kill Pavlich.
So there is some light no matter how dim it may be

Yep, it'll be a close game Sabre, our midfields our quite comparable and neither of our teams are particularly strong up forward or down back. It will be very interesting to see how the game unfolds, could go either way. I think I may tip Freo this week as well, their form home and away has been very impressive, just need to turn up for that 4th quarter and I think they will do that this week.

Racer - im not one to brag. Im not giving freo shit either...im just pointing out the facts of what happeend.

Sabre: Crows dont need a star half back to kill Pavlich, as Pavlich isnt a star in the first place. Bown, Robran, Biglands, Hewitt, Mcgregor or Crowell could do the job. Im backing a Pavlich v Mcgregor battle. They were awesome in primary school!!! Mcgregor for Fulham North (my team), Pav for St Francis....oh the memories!!!

anyway.

these are some facts you need to look at:

Adelaide:
- have only kicked 11 goals a game so far, and let thru 14 a game
- have suspect forward line, strong midfield, suspect ruck depth and a fairly strong defence.
- they have the midfield and the stars to stop freo.

Fremantle:
- Have suspect fitness
- have basically stopped so far in rounds 1,3,4,5,6.
- Suspect forward line, altho they average 13 goals a game, letting thru 16.
- If Richo plays for Crows, freo have noone that couls stop him other than Pavlich, which will then weaken their forward line.
- fremantles midfield is dominant in patches, but not deadly enough yet.

Depending on the coach situation....if Drum stays, i pick the crows by 38 points...if drum goes, then freo by 9

Mark Stevens will probably get the job and do it very well

Mark is a very underated player and is hardly ever beaten.

If Freo beats teh Crows I will never return to this forum again as I couldn't stand the embarassment.

In every game this year Pavlich has had an impact except against the hawks where Rawlings creamed him.
It takes a very good back to to conrol him.
He is suprising faast, agile and a very acurate kick.
If we are to win this week he will be the difference.

Freo's mid field is very strong when they all play, i suspect they have fitness problems.
Still with fletcher and Cook in the side we will be more than competitive.
Though we will miss haselby and Bell.
Our ruck is strong, longmuir wether you want to believe it or not is a ruckman on the way up.
Waterhouse return and he is a undoubted talent and we miss his skills.
Schell needs to step up though
