HUZZAH!!

Should be another enjoyable Saturday evening for our mob!

AST FIVE TIMES
R12, 2014, Fremantle 12.18 (90) d Adelaide 7.8 (50) at Domain Stadium
R18, 2013, Fremantle 11.9 (75) d Adelaide 7.11 (53) at Domain Stadium
R10, 2013, Fremantle 10.6 (66) d Adelaide 8.11 (59) at AAMI Stadium
2SF, 2012, Adelaide 12.9 (81) d Fremantle 11.5 (71) at AAMI Stadium
R20, 2012, Adelaide 17.17 (119) d Fremantle 14.7 (91) at AAMI Stadium

THE SIX POINTS
1. Fremantle remains the number one defensive side in 2015, conceding only 62.6 points a game. The highest score kicked against the Dockers so far this year was 14.4 (88) by the Western Bulldogs.

2. Fremantle dominated Adelaide the last time these sides met – particularly in disposals (443-297). The Dockers took more marks (115-62) and had more scoring shots (30-15), but took the ball inside 50 on one fewer occasion (50-51).

3. The Dockers are ranked second for disposals this season averaging 390.5 a game while the Crows are eighth with 370.1 a game. Fremantle is also ranked third for uncontested possessions.

4. The Dockers have taken the most contested marks in 2015 with a total of 105 at 13.1 a game; the Crows are 11th with 77 at 9.6.

5. Adelaide and Fremantle meet for the first time at Adelaide Oval; in total the teams have played 19 times in Adelaide with 14 wins to the Crows.

6. Fremantle gun Nat Fyfe continues to rise up through the ranks of the Official AFL Player Ratings and has surpassed both Patrick Dangerfield and Rory Sloane. He sits third behind Gary Ablett (No. 2) and Scott Pendlebury (No. 1).

All up the two big factors being their injuries less a packed home ground. That said from everything I've seen I would imagine that we will be looking at more of the same joyful bullying that we have all enjoyed.

Freo by plenty.

IF our midfield can get on top and maul Adelaide it will go a long way to earning the four points.
We certainly cannot be wasteful in front of goal when playing away. This is certainly one of the more harder away trips - no matter where the Crows are on the ladder.

It worries me a little that we haven't played at this ground before but like Ross says its just a patch of grass with some sticks at either end so anyone, anywhere, anytime. The machine is rolling and I can't see us dropping this one.

This year? We played Port there last year didn't we? Either way the dimensions are really similiar to Subi so it shouldn't be an issue.

Port early 2014 no?

The ground is also pretty similar in dimension to Subi, apparently.

Run Clancee with Danger and we should win this by at least six goals.

I can understand if you forgot that game, it was real average.
we had a few out from memory and Port were rampaging at that point. It was during that run when they had a full, extremely fit squad and it seemed everyone they came up against was down a few key players. We had a run like that a few years back and it gives an inflated opinion of where the team is actually at. Certainly Port have come back to earth with a crash.

Any side with our midfield does not drop these sort of games, should be a reasonable test, Freo by 30 & Fyfe to to continue what he does, it's scary.

Freo by 45+ - If the Crows were at full strength it would be have been a different call (Freo by >6) but they are missing some seriously good players and I just cannot see them being able to match our midfield. Our backs should cover their forwards and our forwards should be able to beat their depleted backline. Talia will take Pav but unlike previous years we have "the Tabernator" now and he should cause headaches.

I know a lot of shoulda coulda woulda but it's my prediction and I'm sticking to it :D

Yeah, Brad Crouch, Sloane, B Smith would be like us missing Mundy, Hill and Neale. They may go ok in the midfield in patches but we have too much midfield depth and we will out run them when there best mid's get a rest.

There's soooo many Freo supporters in Adelaide it may as well be a Freo home game (almost). It's going to be cold & rainy though. Brrr. Us by a lot

I heard that plenty of Sth Aussies jumped on us when Modra was recruited.
The weather channel is showing rain all night and cold . Is it heavy rain there and look bleak ?
