Seems like the pigien English is rehearsed to me. Think about it, this guy is intelligent and well educated enough to orgnise a foriegn footballing club in the middle of Paris (one of the most ccosmopolitan cities in the world), and yet he can't get basic diction right ??

Has to be a hoax.

But if it is not, then good luck to you froggy.

Laurent,

Good to have you on board and playing footy. Australia and France have great historic ties espicially with so many of our troops fighting there in WW1 and WW2. Good luck to your club!:thumbsu:

Cheers,

Crash.

I like the sound of the exchange program!

I've got a teenage nephew staying that we've been trying to offload onto someone for ages.

Trading a 17-year old Essendon supporting (he aint my kid) buck full of hormones for an 18 year old French girl sounds the way to go!!
:thumbsu:

it isn t a hoax!

if someone want play in Paris you r welcome!!!!!

in 2006 the Eu Cup will be in Paris

it will be a fantastic cup!

you are all invited

cheer

Bienvenue a Bigfooty.

I'm guessing that footy in Paris is getting more support due in part to the sports attache at the oz embassy being an ex-AFL footballer (Aaron Lord) rather than the rugby nut who previously held the job.

Come to think of it, this post reminds me that I have to pay my taxe d'habitation :(

It looks to me like he's used a french to english translation web page. It rings true.

Salut, I live in Perth Australia, but Paris was my home town. My earliest memories are of the 16th Arrondisement & my father taking me to Ecolé Polytechnique. I think on balance Australians are much, much less prejudiced about the French than English and Americans. French students would find most Australians very friendly and amenable and would have a lovely time here.
I had no idea Frenchmen are playing AFL.

Anyway, sorry if this makes no sense if you're putting it through an online English to French translator. ;)
Nice idea if I'm reading it correctly, and personally I'd like it if there were more French people where I live (I don't know any at all).

P.S Free Michael Blanc!

Hmmmm...*thinks of the french word for hello*

Bonjour!
It has been almost 2 years since I learnt French in Year 7 at school and that's one of the two words that I can remember. The other one is Au Revoir...

Cara - I apologise because the only word of the French language that I know is Paris, but I want to give you a warm, warm welcome to the growing world of Aussie Rules. All the very best wishes for great enjoyment of a very great game and keep your eye on the website www.theconvicts.com.au and you might get up to date news of an Aussie Team coming to challenge you to a friendly game.
Cheers to you Cara, and to all your mates !
