Won my Youth game yesterday easily. Came out and made 296 from the 40 overs, with a great innings from Osbourne (119 off 111).

Then came out and rolled them for 85, Ranhotra taking 5-16 from 6. Impressive. Ratings for youth team up to 55,000.

Then today had a 20/20 friendly, with a clearly outclassed Tassie Tigers. Played the guys in my squad that don't normally get a hit, and easily won. Opponent made 4-149 from the 20, with Dixon the pick of the bowlers with 2-20 from 4.

Came out to bat, and Arnott made a golden duck off the first ball. Not a good start, but then de Haan and Reid cruised home in just over 16 overs.

Batting tech, definitely. Generally, you don't want your tech to be more than 1 level behind the primary

Signed up a month ago and inherited really bad team so had to chop + change a lot of players. Ill be very good in 2-3 seasons once my batch of 17-18 year olds develop

Got 5 pops though for my youths including

17 y.o batsmen ord to average tech
16 y.o poor to ord bat
17 y.o. atrocious to dreadful experience
19 y.o. atrocious to dreadful experience
Gun 16 y.o from atrocious fielding to dreadful

Got an ordinary youth pull this week, 16yo w/ rating of 14,000 and skilled (batting).

Won my 20/20 yesterday very easily, by 170 runs.

Most exciting pops this week were my youth academy, to reasonable, and my supporter base, to enthusiastic.

Had 3 youth pops, two techniques and a batting.

Training 'batting' does train technique, yes.
