Why would you want to waste him down back? The kid has an uncanny ability to take a mark and he is a damn good kick for goal too.

Fyfe is coming along much quicker than I would have expected him to. I saw one of his pack marks at training and the only way I can describe it is that it was JLo like. The only thing that will keep him out of the side this year is his body size.

Well if Harvs ramblings in the media are reported correctly, its unlikely we'll see much of him barring lots of injury problems.

Comparisons of players at this sort of stage is ridiculous - all we can say is his upside looks excellent. BTW, to give you an idea of the ridiculousness of these sorts of articles. I believe the article in question actually said something like "infinite potential" ... oh my, talk about over the top statement. How can an players potential be infinite

Anyway, looks the goods, lets come back here in 2-3 years and see how things are going.

in these times contested forward line marks are gold.

for mine he reminded me of burton but not as "up & down" (not a huge leap, but god across the ground), perhaps with a touch of Steve "Cletis" Johnson. the type who once we get on top will be a great bully (in footy terms).
should prove to be a great foil to the other 1/2 forwards Mr Pavlich & the Brad Johnson like (not silky but energetic & gets results) Chris Mayne.
Now that is a big, mobile 1/2 fwd line.

Sorry to dampen everyones enthusiasm but lets wait til we see him play a few games before we liken him to Knights or Burton.

Very early in the season and people are already getting carried away. The Melbourne game performance is going to need to improved upon if we are going to make a difference this year. Lets hope tomorrows a good game.

Stevie J would be incredible and after watching him at the NAB cup he certainly has a number of weapons in his arsenal...Though very skinny and clearly needs time to develop
