Hi all
I'll explain the purpose of this thread with a back story.
A couple of days ago I took UFC 2010, Alan Wake, Final Fantasy XIII and NBA 2k10 to Watergardens to trade in. They are games that for the most part I wasn't going to get much more play time into. Rather than having them sit there with two games that I wanted (NBA 2k11 and the new WWE game) coming out (or already released at the time, NBA 2k11) I wanted to swap for them to get as much value as I could get.
In the end those four games got me NBA 2k11 and about $30 off of the WWE game. Pretty weak but that's the way it goes when you deal with the gaming stores.
Yesterday I realized that there may have been a better idea out there since I've recently begun posting on these forums. Obviously most people aren't going to be able to get every game that they want to play. Likewise, there will be games that we have bought that we're done with that sit there and collect dust and we don't really want to trade in because we know we're ripping ourselves off.
So I sent Ant a message and asked him "Can we start a game swapping thread." Other users may have found more value in those games that I traded in and were willing to swap a game of similar value that they were also done with.
He had no problem with it. However, he did ask me to post the following disclaimer.
BigFooty DISCLAIMER: BigFooty will not take any responsibility for any personal losses.
In other words, if you decide to swap game(s) with another user then it is all on you.
My advice: If you choose to swap games with other BigFooty then meet in person rather than mailing a game out if at all possible to limit your potential for loss.
