I recently moved overseas and of course one of the first things I thought about was missing AFL and more importantly The Cats games.. USA's coverage is pretty much nothing so no luck on cable but was wondering what's the best thing? I read somewhere last year that most games were up online as torrents pretty quickly? How soon after the game are they being uploaded online?

I've been in Florida for the past 5 years. I use Bittorrent and access the games through AcrosstheTasman.com. Usually the games are ready for download 48 hours later, sometimes longer if capping is an issue.

I can send you an invite for AcrosstheTasman if you wish.

Good luck overseas mate, it can be tough...:thumbsu:

Setanta broadcasts the AFL in the US. I think they show 3 games a week with 2 of them being live. Of course, you have to pay extra to get Setanta.

Or you can get Setanta for free from Carlton, they have one to give away.

It's not really necessary. That site doesn't actually host the actual torrents. They can be acquired from the usual sources. Being a member of across the tasman will only really allow you to see when the torrent has been released. As well as being able to post on their forums and whatnot, obviously.
