Happened yesterday whilst mucking around. Appears to be broken in 2 places. Not good xmas news unfortunately

Shouldn't hampen his preseason to much I would have thought. Will be able to keep his fitness up, which is very important, and he should be right to go by the NAB Cup.

BTW, how did you find this out?

Thompsons fault for letting players muck around.

lol good call!

i hope everyone realises that this signals the fact that Jr isnt comitted enough to ever be captain ... true captains dont muck around and break their arms - oh no they do not! - true captains muck around and break the arms of OTHER people.

In breaking news Ling has broken both of Chuck Norris' arms, Thompson sanctioned him to a meeting with the rest of the leadership group where Tom Harley broke Lings arms.

The morale of these arm breaking incidents is that Ling will one day captain the club, but not today, as Tom Harley is the right man for the job.

Christmas drinking + bigfooty posting often leads to long, pointless posts from knowledgeable footy followers, and the fact Gary Jrv has broken his leg in 37 places means he will probly still win the club's 400 m time trials held on Thursday.

I'd be very intrigued also to find out, well, how he found this out. When David Spriggs did his knee in the off season (sigh :( ), it was all over the news. Funny how the Herald Sun doesn't have one word about it.

Seriously.. every player should be wrapped up in cotton wool and not allowed out, for the duration of the off season! :D

Inside Source says "he was mucking around with David Spriggs down at the beach".

Oh god no, not again!!

That's it not only are players not allowed out, they are definitely not allowed to go to the beach. Far too dangerous.

I love this.

1. Bored person posts some rumour
2. Journalist reads rumour
3. Journalist makes some story out of a non-story

And there you have the addy in summer.

Jim
Look at the time this rumour was posted. The Addy goes to bed by 8 or 9pm,so it was probably a rumour that was on the Rumour File on AW or something mentioned on SEN.

Arghh - its even worse

1. Sports journalist with no story posts some made-up rumour
2. Journalist contacts club to refute story that has 'appeared' on internet
3. Journalist makes some story out of their own made-up rubbish

Agree with you there on the addy... absolute toilet rag of a newspaper. When I do have the misfortune of reading it, the 'Text to the editor' section is enough to make me weep for the future of our region's youth.
