With Gaspar's retirement, do you think this will affect the team we bring to the dome on Sunday?
Tiger supporters who are always on this Board will probably tell you that the effect will not be noticeable - they have given him hell - sometimes deserved. I think it will be greatly to our advantage - and we'll need everything we can muster by way of advantage.
(By the way - on your signature - what is 'mediocrasy'?)

If you do a forum search for 'mediocrasy' it was a stuff up in a post by someone last year. I found it amusing atthe time and have forgotten to rid my signature of it since...

Im sceptical about playing a tall side basically because our talls are notoriously hot and cold... or just plain average and our midfield is slow and cannot deliver the bal to them effectively.

If we go in uber tall it will be to Richmonds advantage imo.

I'd like to think our talls would play well at TD coz of the conditions. Anyone care to find some stats about how well our talls play at TD compared to other places... I'm to lazy to do it myself.

It means Nathan will go better in my super coach. haha

But honestly, geelong would be silly not to go in a little bit top heavy for this match.

Play
Ottens
Blake
Hawkins
Ablett
Mooney
King

all in the side.

You guys will benefit greatly imo.

Gaspar has completely shut down everybody he has played on this year, his kicking efficiency was actually 90% in games this year. Instead we will bring in Kel Moore who is a Dustin Fletcher type... BUT Moore doesn't have the confidence to run off his opponents yet. He will do a solid stopping job but Richmond will lose a bit of drive from defense as a result of playing someone who will usually put the ball into a 50/50 situation rather than mark and pass.

Gaspar's defensive abilities have always been outstanding - even this year - but he gets bagged because his kicking style is ungainly.

I'm sure one of your forwards was jumping up and down over his retirement, no doubt.

No offence intended. Thought it must be esoteric - or a pun which I missed.
What a stuff-up on Richmond's part - to give Andy Kellaway the boot in favour of Gaspar then to give Gaspar the a***!

Obviously Terry Wallet has turned to youth. So the big question is...........

When does Kent debut???????????????????????????

He won't when Jack Riewoldt is kicking bags in the VFL...the future at Tigerland is very bright, not even my sunny's can prevent the glare

If you don't beat us on Sunday, you are a true rabble.

That's exactly what I was saying sunshine. 5 games into the saeson and Wallet's turned to youth. It just makes a mokery of the drafting of Kent some 6 months ago!

By the way, we've had 2 rising star nominations in the first 5 weeks so you'll need a welding mask to keep and eye on our young talent!!
