Waited, waited, waited ...

Good: 9-goal win, take it, 4 points.
McGovern!

Bad: 2nd quarter, terrible
Crouch's little dinky grubbers *slaps forehead*

Ugly: Injury (?) to Milera.
Slow Fog.

Have at it ...

From before the game

1) Milera with 20+ disposals again... sigh.
2) Gooch with a Rising Star worthy game... no, but he did ok
3) Fog to present at the contests and to kick 3... nup
4) Matt to have a nice Showdown tune up... blew out some rust.
5) CEY to blanket Cripps... nope, but CEY did well.
6) Seeds to have the most metres gained... TICK!!!!!
7) Doedee to once again have everyone thinking, Cripes this guy is a gun... well... he was ok.
8) Strong start, and ruthless approach for 4 quarters.... got the start, but not the 4 quarter.
9) Gibbs to have 10 inside 50s!.... 2 in the first quarter then just one more.
10) no fricken injuries.... SIGH

Good:
McLovin
Beastwood
Douglas
Gibbs
Seedsman, although not quite as prolific as recent games
Talia very solid again
Mackay

Other than that, a sort of meh game

I wanted 200% for that game, but we had to keep letting them get goals grr. Still 3rd on the ladder and 125% pretty good considering our injuries. Most teams without their CHF/ captain, 2nd best Mid/ vice captain, 3rd best mid and first choice CHB probably wouldn't be going as good as we are.

Eddie getting swag back.
Gov and his marking
Nice senior games from Dougie and Mackay.
Gibbs continuing to chime in with a goal a game, a number of tackles, some handy kicks plus doing ok in the center.

We're expanding our kick out repertoire, which is good, have added quick movements, sometimes we duff them tho.

Gooch ok. CEY pretty good. Greenwood good also. CEY and Greenwood becoming capable of carrying a decent mid load. Will be dangerous with Crouch and Sloane back and theyre the ones who get the oppositions weakest mids.

Some good cutting back and forth on the angles movement at times tonight. Another string added to the bow.

Overall did what we needed to do. I'm happy with that. Pity we got an injury.

Doedee didn't have a great night.

Still better than Lever and Burton though

Actually this is a fair point. That might have been the first time he's had his colours lowered since coming into the side.

Ditto Talia as well who got belted by Casaboult

Thought Talia was OK, not great but OK. Tommy had a bad one, particularly when he was on Cripps........ or running into an open goal square.

If we had an option we could rest him for a week, but we dont.

Fog needs to learn he has a left side.
AND ...
Needs to look where his mates are BEFORE he gets the ball (lacks awareness!).
Needs to think/act more quickly.
Needs not to telegraph his feints/balks.
But, hey, he's still a kid, great future.

Next week, IN: Tex OUT: Fog
