Am going thru my old school Atlas right now reading about the structure of the Earth. From the upper crust to the inner core, ranging in temps from 400 degrees C, to 4,500 degrees. And the inner core is 6,400km away from us.

The core forms 33% of the Earth's mass.

Yep looking at it now- a peninsula from the ROI extends further North.. and the whole of Ireland is kind of wonky.
