Excuse me if your opinion means diddly squat to me.Theyll be top 4 with the third youngest list in the comp. They dwarf every other club for talented kids, just look at the guys they have running round in the seconds.
You really are an idiot.
Nothing wrong with bowls. What's wrong with lawn bowls?
I play the game.

Choke?dont choke dawks. Make it happen
So football knowledge would be suggesting the Hawks are the most likely to win this year or that the AFL planned to merge the Lions with Gold Coast all along?I'd guess the same lack of football knowledge he showed in the posts prior about the Hawks.
In games that matter, the HawksChoke?
Who loses to Collingwood.

Nothing wrong with been honest. The Hawks in my opinion were the 3rd best in 2011, best team each season after that from 2012-2015.
The reason GWS will be great is as much to do with the off field stuff. The AFL have had their hands in everything in regards to structuring that club off field. It is not just the talent they have now that will make and keep them strong it will be the perpetual influx of talent coming through cheaply every year through the academy and trading of talented players not getting opportunity or want away players that will continually give them access to top 10 talent every year. Players more often than not stick together for less money when success is imminent or occurring just look at Geelong and Hawthorn through their respective periods of success to see it. Veterans from other teams will continue to find opportunity there also if the Giants have holes they need to fill.
I grew up right on the border north east Victoria and the league was O&M, the lower riverina is a talent hotbed all for the cheap pickings through the GWS academy.
Gold Coast are an example of how to do nothing with talent, GWS have more of it and most importantly manage it well.
It all depends on the ebb and flow of the market up North. For the AFL to maximise any future profit both Brisbane and Gold Coast need to remain as viable entities so the AFL can ensure that market remains as competitive as possible... Some type of concessions will be granted to Brisbane in the short term.
I lived up that way for around 6 years and the growth the area had in regards to AFL development and in particularly Victorians had the league licking their lips...this game has a lot of support up North. Aussie Rules was in the infant stages of surpassing Rugby League and that's their prime objective, so they'll get as much of a leg-up as possible.
The game isn't about the fans or the game itself anymore hence my dwindling interest.
The money hungry Greek swine that goes by the name of Andrew Demetriou was the single biggest factor in ******* this sport entirely.
Now greed and corruption are rife.
Expansion is a slap in the face to struggling Victorian clubs and the person who said soccer will eventually become the #1 sport in this country is on the money as more and more people begin to lose interest.
Assuming we meet in the first week, I'm up for a two week sig + av bet. Gotta keep it short in unlikely event I lose my bet with KP that begins after the GF.So who's going to be game enough to bet this time when we play each other Hawfies? Let's make this interesting...
Let's up the anti (we can brainstorm). 2 week sig and AV, loser changes team they go for two opposition team. Loser has to create 3 threads before GF about opposition team/players and how great they are. Anything else? In short, if Hawthorn win, I'll join the Goo Squad.Assuming we meet in the first week, I'm up for a two week sig + av bet. Gotta keep it short in unlikely event I lose my bet with KP that begins after the GF.
Chappyuk are you game? Oh wait.... of course you aren't. Okay then how about you Stabby up you up for it or are you going to use that stupid "I only make account bets I know noone will take me up on" cop out again?
chefmeister - before you even ask, the answer is no.![]()
Just as well you squibbed on that bet, you'd either have a welchers badge now or this convo wouldn't be happening.Assuming we meet in the first week, I'm up for a two week sig + av bet. Gotta keep it short in unlikely event I lose my bet with KP that begins after the GF.

Honestly is for elsewhere. So football knowledge would be suggesting the Hawks are the most likely to win this year or that the AFL planned to merge the Lions with Gold Coast all along?

I'm willing to offer to cancel my account in return for a 2 week sig/av bet for any Hawks game. As i have said before this place is addictive, just when I cut back to posting only every couple of days, or a post a day I get dragged back in like today and waste hours of my life. Save me from my suffering and help me break this life draining addiction. So who's going to be game enough to bet this time when we play each other Hawfies? Let's make this interesting...
Deano I don't want you to cancel your account mateI'm willing to offer to cancel my account in return for a 2 week sig/av bet for any Hawks game. Good ideas all.Yuck Soccer, I feel sorry for future generations. I have some unpopular opinion's about soccer that upsets the followers of the game. Make the goals 3 feet wider and 1 foot higher and get rid of the offside rule. Might help a few more goals been scored, and create more 1 on 1 scenarios with a player and goal keeper.
Honestly is for elsewhere.
In this thread Hawthorn is an unbeatable juggernaut, Brad Hill is a contested beast, nothing that occured prior to the 1970s is worthy of discussion and O'Rouke is one game away from finding Brownlow medal form.
Conversely the last three years didn't happen and even if they did they are no comparison to 3 in 5, Motlop is a hard working team player, the 1870s are just as important as the modern era and Mitch Clark is just biding his time before a steller comeback.
Ok?
Good ideas all.
Get rid of the goal keeper would be another way to go.
Why not?No Hawkins for the Qualifying Final.
Underdog! Was your new ruckman knocked unconscious a few times and couldn't play for months thereby losing the high standard of form he was showing that saw him delisted by ****ing Melbourne? We will take underdog status thanks. Unless Lewis, Hodge and Mitchell finally get suspended
Why not?
