To be honest I'm not sure they overcome Adelaide.

The confidence was coming more from you Handbaggers if I recall correctly.
Think it evaporated rather quickly though and was replaced with concern, worry, fear and then (dammit) relief.
I think Sydney will beat Adelaide and without stirring shit think they do have your measure.
Im pretty sure we will beat the Dishlickers but I hope Clarko has a very very cunning plan for GWS at home.
Plus I really really hope Mumford gets a holiday (StevieJ wouldn't hurt either ).

Fwiw I was never once concerned even when Smith was lining up for goal. It was strange.

I'm packing bricks right now though for the prelim. The only team I'm concerned about is GWS. Sydney pose no threat on the spacious MCG. It's probably a blessing in disguise that we aren't afforded 'a home final.'

Hawks and Cats lift each other in periods of intensity in a game. Higher and higher and higher.

The way we only do to each and become ten goals better than any team this year.

You get one risky game where you won't reach those heights, we have two.

However the motivation to face off against each other will possibly get us both through. If we face off again in the GF I have no doubt it will be the best of all time. Our last battle and the winner wins the war of the ages.

Your backline is your weakness imo, take out rushed behinds and add our out on the fulls on Friday and we had what 8? 10? more scoring shots.
It might hold up, it might not.
I think without Tippett they will play Buddy pretty much by himself inside the 50 rather than up the ground like they have been.
If he has a quiet one then GWS or Hawthorn(doubtfully the Doggies) is your only concern.
If he has a day out......

Do you have a mirror? Mitchell put a brownlow medallist out for a year, was cited for repeated thigh kneeing and given a formal warning by afl. Hodge tried to decapitate wingard on a goalpost, claimed it as an accident and then did it again a few weeks later to an irish player in the international rules. If you want to claim arseh*le captaincy please do a little self analysis. Clarkson also a repeat punching offender of violent note. Please see a real family club. Wow the glow off green is strong in here.. Maybe Geelong could incorporate an emerald green into there playing colours to match there supporters.
Is this classed as a melt? im fairly new here and im not up with all the lingo but its does make good reading while im at work. My only complaint is the boring "melt" comeback can we please get a bit more creative!!
