So really the criticism should've been for Scott. Why would there be apologies?
He played in the one position that makes him AFL standard. Playing anywhere else (like last week) and he's a headless chicken.
If we give him a tag role every week then go for your life. Send him to Richards next week.
There was a whole discussion about it hereThat’s a shit apology.
Butters finals record is the main concern I have. Invisible. Not sure Butters is what we need. He's a small body. With Blicavs, Guthrie, Dangerfield and Duncan about to retire, we really need to set our sights on those bigger 6ft2 mids.
Clark, Clohesy and Atkins are also on the smaller side.
Five games plus the bye and back against Richmond rd17I expect they will be too, though I was encouraged by the ease and freedom with which he seemed to be walking after the game....
Good win but shouldn’t get too carried away. Things ain’t cookin in Port’s kitchen. Losing HF etc didn’t help. After a tight first half with just 9 points in it at half time, it was great to see us take control in the second half pilling on 12.10 82 compared with Ports 2.3 15 - and then continue on with it as the game went on
And loved seeing Humphries get the the chance to celebrate and show pride in the guernsey that shares his story and that of his siblings
We haven't walked away unscathed though with Dangerfield & Bowes both going down with hamstrings early in the match - now to see how we replace them next week
Calm down, you’re allowed to get one wrong every now and then. Why would there be apologies?

And when I do, I'll let you know.Calm down, you’re allowed to get one wrong every now and then.
Disagree. He’s quality. Paired with Holmes and Bazlenka, who do you tag? We’d have the best mid line in the compNot sure Butters is what we need. He's a small body. With Blicavs, Guthrie, Dangerfield and Duncan about to retire, we really need to set our sights on those bigger 6ft2 mids.

Finals records are there to be altered tbf.Butters finals record is the main concern I have. Invisible.
I’m allowed to poke, I’m still expecting Jhye Clark to become a starAnd when I do, I'll let you know.![]()

Still won’t stop the detractorsLeading score involvement player on the ground was Shannon Neale with 11, one ahead of Smith and Dempsey.![]()

I was told goal assists aren't a noteworthy KPI for Neale so I doubt score involvements will get acknowledged.Still won’t stop the detractors
Talismanic player for us. Only now receiving the accolades he deserves..Atkins game was immense. lots of others, Jez of course, amongst a few, but felt like Atkins really stepped up when Danger went off.
Yes he was good... Its consistency is what he needs to do..Checking in for the Mullin apologies![]()
