Checking in for the Mullin apologies 😍😍😍
Why would there be apologies?

He played in the one position that makes him AFL standard. Playing anywhere else (like last week) and he's a headless chicken.

If we give him a tag role every week then go for your life. Send him to Richards next week.

So really the criticism should've been for Scott.

Keep Cameron out of centrebounces early and send Mullin to Callaghan = we win by 4 goals against GWS.

That’s a shit apology.
There was a whole discussion about it here

Try and keep up

Not sure Butters is what we need. He's a small body. With Blicavs, Guthrie, Dangerfield and Duncan about to retire, we really need to set our sights on those bigger 6ft2 mids.

Clark, Clohesy and Atkins are also on the smaller side.
Butters finals record is the main concern I have. Invisible.

After a tight first half with just 9 points in it at half time, it was great to see us take control in the second half pilling on 12.10 82 compared with Ports 2.3 15 - and then continue on with it as the game went on

And loved seeing Humphries get the the chance to celebrate and show pride in the guernsey that shares his story and that of his siblings

We haven't walked away unscathed though with Dangerfield & Bowes both going down with hamstrings early in the match - now to see how we replace them next week
Good win but shouldn’t get too carried away. Things ain’t cookin in Port’s kitchen. Losing HF etc didn’t help.
Next week is the big test.
Footscray will be another team ready to play their GF against us.
Win that and we are the real deal

Calm down, you’re allowed to get one wrong every now and then.

Disagree. He’s quality. Paired with Holmes and Bazlenka, who do you tag? We’d have the best mid line in the comp

Finals records are there to be altered tbf.
For years Blicavs was woeful in finals. 2022 onwards has been better.

Rohan was openly mocked for it. But we don't win in '22 without his QF performance, and his PF performance was good also.

Injuries hurt... big win helps ease worries
Power's fade allowed Cats to coast home
Managed to keep something in the tank
Gonna need it against in form Bulldogs

Off to watch both VFL Cat's and Dog's games
Is it OK to secretly hope for some injuries?

Little bit of context in case anybody finds it interesting:

SA has been in serious drought for months and today they had their first bout of rain. Insanely greasy over here and the worst possible conditions for footy. Roads slippery too.

After the early Port injuries, I genuinely believe Scott got the word out to the players to just ride the boundary for 2-3 quarters until Port are out of legs.

Dour and awful first half, but aren't we a lucky fan base to win a shit game by 70-odd?

At the ground, Jeremy was immense. And Bailey Smith's gut running is quite breathtaking.
