Ok time to relaunch this, so I am busily doing a new design to update its look. So I need volunteers who may want to contribute a column. Previews & reviews will be used from this board so no need for that. But anyone who could say do one article per month (or more if you are keen) would be good.

Looking for following types:

Someone who can do controversial opinion pieces. Really stir the pot.

Someone who can discuss player performances, gameplans, tactics, injuries, etc

Someone who can give it a bit of humor

Someone who can do a VFL wrap up


Is it too much to ask? Anyone interested let me know.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I find it difficult to scrounge the time to produce regular posts for the blog these days.

However, I could certainly manage one every few weeks or monthly.

My preferred format would be an editorial style on a topic of current interest, rather than match previews/reviews.

you are definitely in mate. No need for previews/reviews because we can use the ones done for this board. Whatever you want to write on is OK with me.

C2R & G2k9 thanks for your interest and I am happy to include you both as contributors. All of you think of a cool column name like "The Mouth Of The South" or "The Cat Wrangler" or something like that (they are only lame suggestions)

Write me a column, say 250-300+ words on a topic related to GFC & Football in the manner in which you imagine your column to be. Once you have done it PM it too me and we mods will decide whether or not you cut the mustard for the blog. Sorry but I am looking for quality over quantity.

Same goes for C2R & Geelong2K9. catempire has a proven record.

check out one of our new columnists "The Footy Providore" has his first article posted on geelongblog.com. A great read. I wont reveal his true identity unless he wants me too.

New design not far away and hopefully after the weekend it will be a goer.
