Geelong's record in finals under Chris Scott

The issue will be bucking the trend from a GF pasting. No finals in 2023 after the GF win. This hangover might be big. There are some gaps to fill. Cameron going or slowing down means Neale has to step up. Not in the same league. Stewart is 33 in March. He won’t keep up the AA efforts you’d think.

Lots to consider for Geelong.

He got a bit ahead of himself it seems.

Stanley selection was poor. Bloke is effectively cooked and worst of all, had not played any senior footy for a month. His touch was off and I'm actually staggered how he has been given another 1 year extension. I was under the impression he was retiring after this year. Either the club know Marshall isn't joining or Conway will not make it due to injuries.

Tigers fans up n about
Just lovely to watch the next great dynasty in the making.

Would have thought fans of every neutral club would be enjoying that?

The Lions seem to be going through the same coach's side, repeatedly, that Richmond went through?

I am on record as wanting Chris Scott to remain at Geelong until 2040.

Geelong get a train ran on them by the real dynasty sides in grand finals, first Hawthorn, than Richmond and now Brisbane

Stanley and Blicavs disposals are generally a source of scoring for the opposition in finals.

But what big men are good at that? Harris Andrews is a unicorn, I don't think Scott had an option anything like that

Still don't get Chris Scott's point about the sub-rule, it is perfect for when a player gets injured before halftime.

He had 30 minutes to assess and make a call on Cameron, couldn't believe Cameron was still on the field in the last quarter.

Geelong lost this one in the coaches box trying to be too smart by half, just get the guy with only one arm working off.

That was primary school level footy coaching, and the last thing you should do is complain about the option you didn't take after the game.

He’s done well in his time as coach.
But should have cashed in with more than 1 flag since 2017.

So many missed opportunities.
A great coach to get to the pointy end, but not good enough to get the end result.

Cleary overawed against the real great coaches such as Clarkson, Hardwick and Fagan

Richmond fans upset that their tiny period of relevance is already a footnote in a period dominated by Hawthorn, Brisbane and Geelong. Anything to forget you're a perennial bottom 2 side hey lads

Poor decision from Scott to leave Jeremy Cameron on .
Jack Martin should have started as well.
Scott's game plan is good for big home and away wins but it doesn't stand up in September.
