Absolutely loving the energy the Swans players have brought & getting around their young blokes tonight. Literally every player on the Swans team went to Hewett & Papley, both in debut, when they kicked early goals... Was awesome to see

Can't believe they extended him. I'm still not sure whether he can coach or not, but he has pretty much taken them backwards year on year in terms of ladder position. Should have been finals or bust, althouh it seems to be the trend to prematurely extend them to avoid speculation. :drunk:

Tonight maybe makes our Rnd 3 game Vs the Pies a bit more of a winnable game now.
Swan injured and Sidebottom rubbed out:thumbsu::thumbsu:
The only thing against us is after Buckley gets sacked after Rnd 2 , a sacked coaches side tends to bounce back with a win:p:p

So Swan was injured in the first 5 minutes or pre-game? Got 0 disposals.
Cloke absolutely stunk it up. Take out Treloar and they lose by 100.

Listen to those racist Melbourne supporters booing Scully.

Terrible. Hope Francis Leach and Richard Hinds is on to it

Except Scully left Melbourne for money = traditional reason for booing.

What is the reason for booing Goodes again? Can you even remember? Something made up most likely.

But hey keep telling yourself what you want to believe.

No idea mate. It's such a gray area that most people involved in the clubs have absolutely no idea what is happening.

apparently 14/18 clubs had 1 or more positive test results

pie 3rd highest, with an interstate club and a victorian club being higher

GC and North in the bottom 1/4

Are Collingwood going to be the sliders? Thrashed by the Swans, under the media microscope, and Dane Swan out for quite a while injured. DS had a great year last year, and usually rips us a new one. Never want to see players injured, but glad he is out for our next game.

Seem to remember us doing ok last time we played them and then Swan just swung the game pretty much on his own. And Sidebum might be rubbed out.

Swan will retire now. Likely upwards of 6 months recovery from multiple leg fractures + the time to recover your run. Not a good way to go out and I have nothing against Swan, seems like a decent enough guy.

Collingwood are a young team, it's going to take a lot mentally for them to overcome such a massive loss. Last nights game potentially details their whole season.

As is most years, the Pies were overhyped & nothing more than a middle-bottom range club. I like our chances against them. Sidebottom will certainly be out against us too.

Hard to tell with Sidebottom. It was a legit bump, didnt leave the ground and wasnt shoulder down, but times it poorly and high and crunched him. Maybe 2 weeks, maybe 3 down to 2 maybe 1. Who knows with the mrp.

Dont know. Never booed Goodes. Thought he was a dirty player who got special treatment because he was from Sydney.

Others didnt like him turning AFL into his own political soapbox. Others didnt like his treatment of a 13 y.o girl.

There were numerous reasons but it was boiled down to simpletons yelling racist.

Maybe the ones who point their fingers at others and shout Racist at everyone should look at their own reasons and maybe look up projection.

Anyway as I said I never booed Goodes. Great player.

Wouldnt bother booing Scully
