Collingwood are 1-3 and under serious pressure from the media (fair enough, a few games they should have been competitive in and maybe won) but Freo are now 0-4 and all I see in the media is "we're backing in Ross the Boss", "Ross will definitely respond from this", "You better believe they're gonna come out breathing fire next week". How long until the cliché's fade and people start taking a hard look at Ross and Freo.

Amen. How is the super coach going? A real 'genius'? He is a one trick pony still obsessing over the 2005 'Bloods' game plan who has been found out. He was in the right place at the right time at the Saints with a good mature list with about 8 AA players running around. He got another good mature list at Freo. Just lucky both times. Now he has been found out as the fraud he truly is.

Freo are cooked, the players are mentally done. Deep down Ross probably knows that his gameplan is now obsolete especially with the cap on rotations. Can he create a new gameplan? I highly doubt it, it is much easier to create a negative gameplan than a positive one. That involves a lot of teaching and development from your coach. I don't think Ross has it in him.

Hinkley was in the media last week puffing his chest out and spewing out the cliches about how strong the club was and how confident they were they were on the right track and all the usual crap how the media was wrong and they know 'internally' how great they are going . Caro put it to him that they didnt have a plan B and other sides had figured them out. Hinkley scoffed at her with dripping condescension in a smug way like he was going great guns. Dude - you only beat Essendon. Absolute flog. I used to think he was ok. Now I think he is a class A moron. Talking about getting ahead of himself. You should have seen his huffery and puffery after beating the top-ups. Just embarrassing stuff. One season wonder.

As for the north one, they are mentally fragile and he has wasted a great list. Maybe this season he will punch the table in the right spot and it will magically go right.

Soooo Scott inherited a good list and got a flag and is still no good, but Lyon inherited a good list and got 0 flags and is somehow an amazing coach...?
