Both brothers are the biggest sooks when obvious kicks are paid against them.
Yeah , they were like that when they played too , always the first to look shocked every time an obvious free kick was paid against them. Biggest wingers ever . Every time they lose they blame everyone but them selves , especially the umpires and players rom the other club getting special treatment from the umpires that their players just never get. They always react in front of the cameras making sure the world knows that was totally unfair etc etc.

Where'd we place in your predictions?
8th, but that was me being extremely optimistic and involves winning (when its likely we lose all three of those):
- Richmond @ MCG
- Melbourne @ MCG
- WCE @ Etihad

the probable winnable games are:
- Freo this weekend
- Essendon @ Etihad
- Norf @ Etihad

Loses: Sydney (away), Port (away), Richmond (next weekend)

Just looking at Billy Longers stats for this year so far .
9 games
8 kicks
69 handballs
12 marks
30 tackles
330 hitouts

Not very good reading for our number 1 ruckman .
Are there any ruckmen in the draft we should be looking at ?

Maybe that's not what he is measured on.

Great call VDS66.

It's amazing how many forwards they have let go over the last 4-5 years.......mind boggling really.

Their av points for this season is 73 ...and today they went slightly over that average.

Pre this round they had the comps lowest "points for"

Bolton has done a really good job(credit where it's due) getting a functional backline to minimize heavy losses but they just can't kick big scores.
They're still a very old side. Won't make finals this year, might next year but don't look like they're flag contenders. So in 2019 they'll have:

34: Simpson
33:
32: Armfield
31: Murphy, Rowe, Silvagni A, Thomas
30: Gibbs, Palmer, White
29: Casboult, Curnow, Kreuzer, Wright

All those guys will be dropping off at those sort of ages. They need a few of their poached guys to really come through in the middle-age brackets, guys like Jaksch, Gorringe, Smedts, Lamb, Kerridge, Plowman.

It looks to me like it's now or never for the Blues, and I don't think it's now.

It is very concerning that we have a plethora of average ruckmen on our list.

Longer
Hickey
Holmes
Pierce
Marshall

The best mark on that list is Marshall. The bloke with the most upside on that list is Marshall. The fact that Longer & Pierce are contracted for 2018 & Hickey for 2018 & 2019..... :drunk:

Hickey should be playing.

Remember that performance against Swans in Albury, 29 touches, 39 hitouts etc. We know he can play but for some reason he isn't banging the door down.
