Where I live athletes suffer ridiculous consequences for not being a fan of the other teams in town! Joel Embiid (currently the most popular athlete in Philadelphia!) provoked outrage when it was revealed that he was a Packers fan! If his wife was driving around with Boston Celtics license plates (in a contract year no less), I can’t even tell you the outrage that would follow.
