I think it's fantastic that you guys are arranging something like this, also great to say see people from different clubs pulling together during times such as these, that bloke meant a hell of a lot to us all, and some here may not know how much Lidge has done for the club but let me be the first to say we all appreciate your kind thoughts and wishes :) :thumbsu:

Good idea.

I live in Darwin and when i went home to Melbourne for Xmas i posted a thread so see if any Roos supporters from BF wanted to catch up for a few drinks.

That is where i met Lidge. It was good to put faces to the names of people who i have talked footy with.

I encourage you all to do it.

Is it OK if I draft a letter to the club requesting some club support....I.e. a player or two, and maybe some paraphenalia to raffle or auction for some worthy cause??

And we should start a list of those coming so that we can confirm numbers.

This should be fun.:)

I'm sure the club would love to send a couple of players to the pub with a bunch of drunken yobbo's. Maybe my buddy Schwabby will come too since his replacement should be in place by then.

Some prizes would be good though. :thumbsu:
