I hope Collingwood come out all macho and pathetic again and kick two goals for the rest of the match.

Good chance there'll be a melee or two at some point, but seriously doubt there'll be a proper brawl with serious haymakers thrown which is probably for the best.

When was the last time that happened? Even in the Hawks/Bombers game last year when Lloyd knocked out Sewell the ensuing 'brawl' was more sneaky jumper punches and wrestling than old school fists flying everywhere stuff.

By 'Brawl' are you are referring to a version of Greco-Roman wrestling that takes place these days
When was the last time two teams had an all in stink with fists flying from both sides......last one I can recall was the Western Derby a few years back when both the Eagles and Dockers had a few players rubbed out as a result.

you want to be civil and not encourage violence but...

it's Grand Final Day, the season on the line... i want some biff

2000 Western Demolition Derby

Watch Leroy Brown go straight into the face of Baker while Didak and Davis start on the bench.

Let's see if Razor Ray gets whistle happy

2009, Collingwood v Richmond.

seriously what's with all the Pies fans bringing up Leigh Brown as a potential 'hard man' to "test out kosi's ribs" or "face up to Baker"

Brown's had a terrific season but I'd hardly call him a "tough" player.

I'm sure Bakes will be shaking in his boots at the thought of "big bad leeroy" trying to take him out..

Was that the one sparked by Jake King getting gang tackled, the game where Richmond got thrashed?

Can't remember any particularly big punches thrown, or connecting, from that game. Falls into the mass jumper-stretching wrestle category for mine, did anyone even get suspended from it?

Start a big fight after the 1st bounce in the last quarter wait for the Collingwood players on the bench to rush onto the field and then call for a head count, Collingwood score reverts to 0 j/k :D

Just want our players to go in hard at the ball.

has this rule actually ever been enforced? .... i just can't see it happening in AFL, let alone a Grand Final.

Rule doesn't apply in AFL anymore - it's simply an interchange infringement.

I hope there is biff - would love to see stevie baker throw a haymaker, miss, and knock Milne out.

Pity the only bloke who'll probably retire is Presti - perhaps Michael Gardiner who has thrown a few in his time.

Hahahaha. With a bunch of skirts like Didak, Davis, Milne, Reiwoldt, Cloke, Sidebottom etc running around. I doubt it very much.

Best you can hope for is Baker to down someone behind play and Maxwell to retaliate by scrunching a few creases into the front of his jumper.

why is nobody addressing the obvious - an all in brawl amongst the meeting of the masses on the other side of the fence ?

while GF day is notorious for a gathering of corporates & other priviliged, the masses of ferals from the diamond valley region & the bayside will converge in a sea of knuckle draggers - surely a situation leading to many moments of degradation, mindless violence and incredible stupidity.

wouldnt expect anything less !!

Would love the Saints to give them some physically and vocally all game.
Its the Pies that need to be unsettled and worried out of it.
Do 'em proud, Bakes.

I want Baker to line Didak up and knock him the **** out.

Take that smug, arrogant smile off him face and Baker can retire with a premiership medallion around his neck whilst retiring in glory. :thumbsu:

BUT BUT BUT he got suspended!!! He'll smash Baker!!! ;)

I actually agree with you here.

I would like to see Maxwell and O'Brien even attempt to get into an altercation with Riewoldt.

Both would go flying as the older he gets the less Riewoldt puts up with.

would love to see something like when Alistair Lynch shapped up to some Port backman (Wakelin) a few years back in his last game. Pretty sure it was the Bris V Port GF

I believe he politely asked if he "wanted to go" followed by several haymakers.

Now thats how I want this GF to start. Stand up and show em who's not going to be taking any sh*t today.:thumbsu:
