1st qt, as Stevie J kicks his second, the commentator is screaming, "Who's on Johnson? Who's on Johnson?" Hilarious

And in the 2nd, in the lead up to Johnson's third..., "They're running through the middle, my God they're everywhere!" Or words to that effect...

And many of Michael Voss' incoherent thoughts made me laugh. Like the one where, Wallsy says, something like "The inclusion of stephen king was the right decision" Voss responds, "I differ from you a bit wallsy, whereas I realise a tough decision had to be made, and Mark blake had to be left out for Stephen King." As the old saying says, it is better to remain silent and thoughtful, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

And I believe Vossy came out with this gem after the boys had changed topic and were talking about something different altogether.

"I think he meant that" - Tim Watson after Mackie hit a forward on the lead. (Well duh!)

"I think he meant that too" - Watson again after Selwood punched the ball to Enright who kicked a goal.

Most rediculous quote came from Vossy in the 1st quarter:

Voss was the weakest link in the commentary team; I'm not sure what Channel 10 saw in him. Huddo and Tim Lane were the best.

BUMP!!

Was watching the DVD last night for about the 119th time and was listening to 3AW's commentary, and they came up with a couple of classics.

Rex: Battle of the builders scoreboard is right. It's a skyscraper versus a tent, and the tent's being blown to the schizenhousen.

Boundary rider (as Ablett was getting rested the same time Tredrea came off with the blood rule): Those cheers you can hear are for Gary Ablett. Tredrea thinks they're for him though, so he's pretty happy.

The 5AA commentary is hilarious too. At half time they're talking Port up as still being in with a chance, then 4 minutes into the 3rd quarter they finally admit Port are gone.
