Points is a fairly abstract concept. But the picks they are represented by have value.

First the talk of ridiculous lowballing, now we've traded, to my calculations, roughly 756 points in and 1600 out.

I wouldn't be surprised that as part of the meeting with the AFL this morning they asked us to do something like this if it didn't harm our trades just to dull the uproar a bit on us getting pick 7 for nothing. We weren't using those 3rd rounders anyway.

Points that can’t be used as no body was buying except Brisbane.
Pick 25 is better than 38… the rest were useless to us and 17 other clubs.
