Although disappointed they lost, I thought that all in all the tigers werent that bad today. They gave the dogs a good run for there money for 3 quarters and the margin didnt reflect how close it was.

The disposal was bad at times and they were carrying about 3 players where as the dogs had a full squad to choose from when doing the rotations. when one of them was put in the middle the dogs got the break that was just out of reach for them. If they had more able players in the team then they would have got closer.

some players were too richo-centric when kicking out, ignoring players closer and kicked too him despite having a dogs close to him and this cost them.

Too much over reaction here the dogs are top 4 and they werent expected to win

No, we played pathetic.
You confuse me, you rip into players who don't deserve it, then praise the team after playing an absolutly pathetic match

they werent great but dogs are one of the top teams. they had a chance to win if they didnt have so many poor kicks. a few poor clearances gave dogsa few goals and they missed a few set shots. dont sell them short.

The only thing you're right about is that the margin did not reflect the game. We should have lost by a lot more. They played ordinary and still killed us. I don't know what game you were watching.

the dogs got a few cheap goals towards the end, they didnt kill them. those goals were due to poor disposals. they gave themselves a chance to win if they didnt miss a few easy set shots.

Another thing I hate hearing , "But they are a top side."

Hang on , were'nt Hawthorn ,Richmong , Bulldogs and Carlton all on the bottom and rebuilding at the same time. What the hell happened to us? We should be a "Top" side.

We are not a top side. We are a poor basement side which has just been beaten by eight goals by a proper team. We are cannon fodder.

Some of you are in complete denial. Richmond are a totally outclassed, toothless, poor team made up of injury prone older players like Brown and Cousins and younger players who don't hit the mark often enough like Riewoldt andsome hopeless cases who don't need to be named.

We have a coach who knows he has failed and is goingthrough the motions and a vast fanbase who have turned up in huge numbers to the pre season V Collingwood and now the two Melbourne based games V Blues and Dogs ( huge crowd today ) nd who are now thoroughly sick of it.

The crowd next week at he Dees game will be way down. Stop fooling yourlselves. Richmond are a running joke.

thats what is pissing us off. we are the clanger kings, even Melbourne do not turn it overs anywhere near as much as us!

Cost us 16 goals against Carltank, and 6 each last week and today, no other side apart from Freo is within 5 goals of that effort

wow, thats a revelation, they have had this issue since the first practice game this year! you cant expect too much until the skills coach decides he will do something about it.

The game today was very dissappointing both from the performance of individual players to the style of game the team played.

The players whose effort today were not satisfactory were Edwards, Schulz and Tambling. Although terry Wallace said tonight that Tambling became a father this week and missed a nights sleep. If he wasnt up to playing today then that was the coaches share some blame for sending him out.

Schulz ran his guts out today but it was a complete waste of time as he hardly put himself in good position to recieve the ball. Hughes or Pattison seems to be the better option.

Edwards was very disappointing, too small and kicking skills were very poor. Pace did not seem to be there either so did not offer the side anything today. Wanted Terry to be asked about him tonight but he does not seem to be developing or have the base talent required. Conners, Collins and Naha should be played ahead of him.

The most disappointing aspect today was the game plan, 70% of the time we went sideways or were too slow to have any chance of creating goals. When we did play on and run and attack we gave the bulldogs some problems but it was way to rare.

Positives from today were Rance, Moore, McGuane, Polo and White. They all showed some talent and fight.

krustyklown is obviously a troll like sassegum.

he goes against the grain in subtle ways every week, if you take note of his posts they are all ridiculously dumb. Hes taking the piss

he wants players like bowden pettifer, johnson bc they "have big strong bodies" and doesnt want players like reiwoldt bc "too small" or mcGuane "bc needs to get dropped, cant kick goals" to play. his problem is never that we dont play enough kids, its that we dont play enough older stronger types lol

Now he takes the piss by saying it was a good effort?

mods do ur jobs and work out this troll and eff him off, this season is hard enough to stomach without this clown to stir the pot

you obviously have never watched any of the games this year. tambling, edwards etc are not as good as what you believe they are at this stage. the replay is on tomorrow ONEHD, please watch it.

mate you have been posting like that since you started, when we needed to get games into reiwoldt and other young blokes in a nothing season like 2007 you were sprouting the same crap.

its not the quantity of games, its the quality. you cant have players racking up 50 games or more just for the sake of it. they have others in the squad and they need to be tried as well. maybe they will excel but you cant keep playing the same ones who dont perform for long periods.

players like hughes, polo etc should have been given a better shot

now you say that but back in 07 when we should have been playing these guys every week bc we were having a shocker you were claiming we should be playing the likes of pets, johnson etc bc they have stronger bodies.

you are a deadset troll, was mildly amusing reading your dumb posts but not now, just **** off

i never said any such thing about leaving players in because they have strong bodies. i said they cant just select 1 or 2 drafts and only play them regardless on there performance. at least give the others a go.

johnston was captain so i doubt he would be dropped, thats just silly.

im not leaving, i was here before you came along.

You're friggen kidding me? We were friggen pathetic today. Schoolboy stuff and had 14 passengers. The bulldogs would have smashed us if they were on their game.

Rance, white, lids, mcguane are about the only ones i could say had a dip. Brown, simmonds, jackson, edwards, tambling, bowden, tuck, all a disgrace to the jumper.

BS, your post history is littered with your ridiculous statements about bodysize and "whats this fascination with youth" you were always advocating playing older experienced players ahead of developing young players even on a rotational basis when clearly finals were not on the cards. I'm not the biggest fan of mcguane but the way you have incessantly called for him to be dropped and delisted is ridiculous.

troll

hes a good reader of play, he runs to the "wrong spots" bc he tries to get to all contests which is physically impossible, needs to learn when to go and when to not. Classy one grab player inside with good evasive skills, has good peripheral vision. Decision making and football nous is first rate, his execution is what lets him down. Very weak frame, really needs to strengthen and bulk up for the role hes naturally inclined towards.

If i was to compare him to a "type" of player it would be robert harvey, same sort of tank, clean hands, good vision and evasiveness, just needs to learn his limits and hit easier targets and run opponents ragged
describing edwards a day ago.
