What cost you was your lack of big men both in ruck and down back... injurys cost you a bit. When Ryder had to go off, we were able to dictate alot more from the taps... If youd had someone to spell him, that game easily could have gone otherwise.

Youve got a team thats playing confident, strong running and scoring football. I really think on your day you could put up a big score against most teams, excepting the two elites.

Centre-Half Forward has been and always will be the most important position on the field. And Scotty straighten us up down the spine today. Pushing lloyd deeper and neagle operating deep as well looks better. Hopefully scotty can back it up week for week for the rest of the year.

thanks STO, i think i can speak for most when i say its appreciated.
i was at the game and thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the loss. adelaide were cleaner, more experienced, and wanted it more in the end.
there are a few holes that need to be filled in essendon's current team for it to be the best it can, and i think adelaide is very well balanced across their lineup.
the good thing is that the bombers only just fell short due to a last quarter fade out, and i think essendon has a lot more improvement in them and are can play better.
