Sorry fishguts but you should know by now that Essendon don't win games of football...the opposition just loses them. Ask Carlton and Collingwood fans and it is all about the following:

- injuries
- didn't come to play
- umpires
- global warming
- GFC (financial crisis)
- Harold didn't win the Gold Logie

If we happen to have a higher score than Hawthorn at the conclusion of the match tonight if will have nothing to do with the way we played but rather the following:

- the air raid siren was an unfair advantage
- the large pro-Essendon crowd was an unfair advantage
- the pictures of the players around the ground gave us a numerical advantage and put Buddy off his goalkicking
- The extra 3 hour break during the week made Hawthorn lathargic
- Hawthorn were unsure how to tackle kids
- Damien Hardwick felt compassion for his old club
- Jeff Kennett's rant about umpires was a distraction to the players
- Birchall was underdone
- Buddy has a pot


Rest assured regardless of whether we come away with the 4 points Essendon won't win the this game!

My sentiments exactly, although my team is full of confidence after a great win last week, it must be exciting to see your team introduce the youngsters
that will no doubt, totally rebuild you're back half in the future and be adequately be prepared, before the GC rape and pillage the draft in the future.

I feel that your club is one of the more fortunate in the league, with a younger coach with a great amount of knowledge in this ever evolving game,
