No finalist should be underestimated, Freo are a very capable team but I expect Geelong to prove themselves superior in Melbourne.

I believe we are the two best teams in the comp (I'm sure there are other opinions on that).

Should we win this game, I still think making it to the GF will be tough, but I would love to, because based on recent history, Geelong St Kilda matches are always close and epically nerve racking.

from a freo perspective, i wish you guys good luck as well. indeed your side is one of the best ever, and it is an honour for our boys to be up against you at the home of footy on a friday night. hopefully there is no injuries, it is a good close game, whoever wins will have earnt it.

if we cant win, as long as the pies dont, i'll be happy. personally i think freo are winners either way, because if some of our young boys can learn in a big game anything off some of your stars, it will be an exercise well worth it.

Agree with most of what you say. Tough unrelenting football is what it's all about. Players who are prepared to put their bodies in harms way for the team - a la Joel Selwood. It's easy to be a grandstand hero with all the 'war' crap.

LOL, we play hard fast intensive footy. Barlow got his injury due to that style, extremely unfortunate but at least both players were going for the ball with that intensity. So you think that style of footy is dirty sniping - no wonder everyone thinks Geelong has gone soft.

If you do manage to get over us tonight, there is absolutely no way you are going to be in any condition to get over Colonwood next week
