Geez it was good to see Dessie back on the weekend. I've missed watching the #11 run around.
He was pretty impressive when you consider how much footy he has missed as well. His tackling and attack on the ball and player were exceptional, especially for a soft reciever.

His disposal wasn't at the Des level we have grown to know, but that will come once he gets a few games under his belt and gets the polish back.

I agree! although he wasn't as clean with the ball geez he had a pretty big impact with only a limited amount of time.

12 kicks 7 handballs, 5 marks, 4 tackles, 7 i50's & 1 Goal is pretty good for a first game back.

Des was really good. A couple of costly fumbles but all things considered a terrific return to football. Should really add something to the team over the rest of the season.

Top post Wizard, your views on Dessie are spot on IMHO (although my friend, you do support an atrocious NFL team) I thought Des was good enough to get a vote in the POTY too...

Made a couple of costly errors, but I was impressed at his desire to be out there. Put in 110% all day, and added a fair bit to the drive from the midfield. Hopefully he'll continue to improve over the next few weeks.
