I couldn't care less if no Melbourne player touched it and we blatantly got away with favoured umpiring decision, in fact I like this even more, to make up for all the times we've been screwed when in that situation.

Yeah it was 100% deliberate and yeah I love that we got away with it.
Then Kane Cornes will be right? Hopefully he stick to this story on Footy Classified and one of the others show him this footage and then he change his argument to intent although Doedee was right there for the handball receive had the ball not deflected from Spargo's hand.

How is it that when we have a bit of good fortune go our way for once, it becomes the BIGGEST NEWS ITEM IN FOOTBALL HISTORY and gets referenced for years and years afterwards?

Libba's point... Leigh Colbert's mark... the Fitzroy Absolute Murder... Deliberate out of bounds

Whereas the 1993 prelim... 2012 prelim... Rehn holding the ball... freekick Hawthorn... Pannell 17-1 Bulldogs... or whatever we just have to cop and never gets a mention?

I still havent recovered from the 2017 GF when Betts was held in the goal square in the 2nd quarter. :$

I thin there is also a drop off with seat allocation being Moved and for my part an unwillingness to travel public transport with lax condition.
What's wrong with public transport?

I'm using it as per usual.

There is no community infection to worry about... but you can wear a mask if that concerns you.

Community infection is the main issue to worry about, when that happens than yes you need to worry. Otherwise soldier on.

Again, I really couldn't care less.

Let him be right. So what if we got away with something and stole the game.

I don't feel an ounce of guilt and i definitely don't feel less deserving. I just think about friggin time something went our way and no one can do anything about it.

I sit here and couldn't have a bigger grin on my face thinking the footy gods have actually smiled on us for once.

At the end in early third qtr, we booed the hell out of the umpires because we were getting a rough deal and then we ended up getting 4 or 5 frees in a row. I found it so funny that the booing work. Start of the forth again they went back to normal, giving Melbourne everything. Oliver was throwing the ball, Keays got hit heat high and a Melbourne player I can’t remember ducked big time and got a free to kick a goal. But all people remember is the last 2 minutes, it proves the media has a big say on setting the agenda and right now we aren’t even on the page

This is now the current top post on r/afl
Think it was Jon Ralph still running with the AFL coming out tomorrow and admitting them got that decision wrong?
Hopefully some nice egg on face.

I watched the last q again

amazing when everyone stands up

and the smiles on the kid’s faces

GROTTO can you confirm we have the same number of wins as CarLOLton, who are in year 20 of their rebuild?

If that happens I will be ****ing ropeable. This would warrant a public please explain response from the Crows. Show the footage of it being touched and ask what the **** the are doing 'admitting' it was wrong.

thanks for sharing an ass comment. Maybe I didn't look at the right clip with 100% evidence, can you show me?
My bad, I thought you meant the deliberate call which came off Spargo.

The footage of Sholl's touch on Langdon is not conclusive and you can't overturn if that's the case.

If you look for Spargo pulling his hand away as the ball flicks it, it makes it easy to spot the instant it was touched. And the ball changes its trajectory from 3 frames before that.
And you can also see as soon as the ball goes out Spago turns for the ball in - absolutely zero interst in deliberate

Melbourne were stiff with a couple of decisions at the end.

And you know what?

Jimmy crack corn and I don’t care!
Umps pull this sort of shit all the time. They had been reaming us all game and decided to give us a few freebies to even the ledger in the last quarter. Melbourne should have made hay while the sun was shining.

Fun Facts with Grotto.

The Crows in Year 2 of a rebuild vs Carlton in Year 20 of their rebuild have the exact same number of wins, that is 4.

But lets delve deeper into those wins, with Fun Facts time.

The Crows have beaten 3 teams that were in the 8 at the time, Geelong, Gold Coast and Melbourne, with the caveat being that the Cats were the runners up in the 2020 GF.

The Blues have only beaten 4 bottom 8 sides.

At no stage in Carlton's debacle of a rebuild have they ever beaten a team on top of the ladder.

The good was it was one of the most even team game for four quarters in a very long time. No one really stood out as being overly dominant. A few cameos at times but the majority pulled their weight all game.
Great intensity, great experience for the young ones.
Bit perplexed why Nicks never had Oliver tagged in the second half.
