Hey, just wondering what happened to Simon Goodwin? I saw him go off the ground with what the commentators said was a sore groin, but today I heard it was a hamstring. Does anyone know anything about it or how long he may be out for?

Since his didn’t return after ½ time or they’re about he should be right for the North Melbourne game on the Sunday.

For those who were not at the game he (Simon Goodwin) was kicking the ball 50+ meters with fitness coach at ½ and ¾ time and it was reported he could have came back on if he was needed.

The injury was a slight upper hamstring strain, not a groin injury. Simon Goodwin should have a MRI today (possibly last night) to see if there was any tear in the hamstring.

I think it was a hamstring related groin injury! Or maybe a groin related hamstring injury? Or maybe he just had a sore johnson!

He looked fine kicking the ball around at 1/4 and 3/4 time. IMO was just not put on the ground due to the fact we were winning by so much and therefore could give Knights and Reilly some game time.

Will be right for next week.

Yes, Simon could have come back on, but we don't want to risk any of our players, unless we really have to. The stage of the game was such that we made a decision as a match committee not to put Simnon to any risk.

There you go than :)

I saw that, and was lucky enough to be in a corporate box as well!

The fitness coach has a decent leg :O
