In a text message sent by Goodwin to Dank at the end of June 2012, Goodwin wrote to Dank "Don't forget the good gear today buddy."
Then on July 5, 2012, Goodwin again wrote to Dank, "Don't forget the good gear mate."
Six days later, Goodwin wrote to Dank, "Bring some of the good stuff in buddy."
The next day, on July 12, 2012, Goodwin wrote to Dank "Sorry mate forgot to see you yesterday. Am heading to Adelaide today can you please bring some of the good stuff in buddy."
Dank has told 7.30 that the "the good stuff" is a reference to Hexarelin.

Expect large fines for the Adelaide football club

Yeah I wasn't taking about us playing them doped, one would hope they stopped doing whatever they were doing

They haven't (and won't) lose much muscle they gained while on the peptides. The peptides and training stimulated fast muscle growth. Regular training will ensure they don't lose it. Not being on the gear now doesn't eliminate the advantage they have gained from using it.

Fines????

We are getting kicked out of the competition son.

Seriously though, anyone else seeing the similarities on how this is playing out to the Tippett shenanigans last year?

The denial, then the " our day in court", then the news stories start drip feeding information...not sure how this affects the playing group but the coaching group are looking like they are about to embark on some R & R

That's exactly what is happening.

Well, Goody used to play for us. So, we will be forced to hire Hird and Goody, who will then be suspended. Following that we will be stripped of all premiership points because of our inside knowledge of the doping scandal.

Then we'll thank the AFL for it and give dangefield to Geelong in a trade where we actually loose draft picks, somehow.
We've already pleaded guilty

Interesting post.

The latest in anti-aging technology. Plus one of the drugs Hird allegedly was taking was a melanin stimulant for a better tan.
Both Hird & Goody look ridiculous with their fake tans. I knew pretty-boy was vain, but Goody? Has Warney been advising them...

But we were stupid enough to admit guilt, I suspect like Melbourne, Essendon will make the parties making any accusation find them guilty. This is where the AFL will come unstuck. The wording of the act and available evidence won't allow for a guilty finding.

I still believe Essendon will not lose any players or draft picks. They may receive a fine but IMO that's it.

In particular the rapid diversification into exotic supplements, sharp increase in frequency of injections, the shift to treatment offsite in alternative medicine clinics, emergence of unfamiliar suppliers, marginalization of traditional medical staff, etc, combine to create a disturbing picture of a pharmacologically experimental environment never adequately controlled or challenged or documented within the Club in the period under review.

Interesting words from the Essendon chairman. For those aware of the issues the anti psych movement are trying to raise, thats exactly what they're on about, A culture in the pharmaceutical industry.

Essendon and Melbourne should still lose their license and every coach administrator deregistered.History of cheating the system and now putting young men at risk ,in the way they have been accused, to cheat the system.

Imagine if Goodwin got the job instead of Sanderson?
