Thought so, recently using it & seemed a while lot better.

For regular updates in some areas photomaps by nearmaps is a great tool. Mostly used by councils & business but works well.

It is good for viewing from above like Google earth.

The picture of my house on Google Earth has to be about two years old, because there's a vacant block next door in the photo that hasn't been like that for a fair while (people have been living in their brand new house on the block for nearly a year now).

Good to see they finally updated Melbourne. Until now the MCG still had the running track for the 06 Commonwealth Games

No update for Geelong though, Skilled Stadium is somewhere between the 2 developments

these are the images that were supposed to go out last year but was delayed due to that wifi controversy....

but their cars/tricycles are supposed to go out again later in the year for new updates.

They finally put my street and house on street view (they previously had the streets right next to mine).

FFS, you can see me through the window of the damn house. Couldn't the google people ask me when they were coming past, so I didn't appear in the picture.

At least in my area, the pictures were taken on a Thursday. I found myself at cricket training.

I went past Metricon Stadium and all it was at that stage was floodlights and dirt.

Yet I went past my house and it looked up to date, probably around 2008-2010.
