I think DWD/Raw Talent/DT Teacher/BuddyMania/Majestic1 deserves the modship for practically being half of all posters on the dream team board. And there only the accounts we knows about.

The I do this job for free excuse is not going to work.

There are plenty of other people with plenty more free time than you that can be doing 10x the job you are doing but you are just being stubborn and think you can handle it and therefore denying everybody here a higher standard of moderation.

24hrs is not acceptable IMHO. Plz comment if you agree with this.

Mods checking in once a day on a forum that is running 24/7 is some kind of joke?

The doing the job for free was just in reference that sometimes there are issues that come up in life that don't allow us moderators to be online 24/7. I am still unsure which elements of this forum are so terrible, that someone could come in a do a job 10x better than has been currently moderated.

Over a period of time with lots of hard work on behalf of many posters, the level of posting on BF has improved. These DT boards have almost become self moderating where posters are normally directed to the appropriate threads.

If having to view a thread on the main page for less than 24 hours here and there is the worst issue, then I am sure a majority of people can handle that inconvenience.

If there is a major issue there is the report button which then notifies many moderators to act swiftly. If it was that big an issue, maybe you could have taken that approach for quicker results.

It is wonderful taking pot shots at 54Dogs and myself, but in the grand scheme if issues on the DT boards, this I would call minor. I also feel that there were actions that you could have taken to help rectify this gross negligence (in your eyes).

How about you stop posting "twat" advice in threads? I did not force you to post this advice, you had options of providing NO advice or maybe directing the poster to the correct location to post their question.

Thats wierd mate. Mines working just fine. Maybe try it first thing tommorrow. Could be just somthing wrong with your net. Might fix itself overnight

In fairness guys, if you report a post it is usually dealt with very quickly. If you see a thread that shouldn't be there then report it and it will be gone or moved. Simple really.

whats the quickest way to work out someones break even for next week if predicting there score for this week. is there a way to do it in Genie.
eg. simpson has a break even of 131, say i predict him to score 90 this week against the saints.. how can i work out his break even for next week.

I find TooSerious.com is the best for this type of thing. Have a look at it and see if it has what you're after.

No bad luck involved here.

By picking this combination you were always looking to cop some zero's. Ottens one of the most undurable players ever. Seaby also struggled to string games together in his career.

To pick 2 cheap rucks who are undurable was a stupid decision.

I can cop Ottens as a bad selection - I knew I was taking a risk, but I'm not convinced that it was a bigger risk than, say, Maguire who seems to be in a lot of teams despite missing a lot of footy in the last three years. Or maybe I should have taken Hille coming back from a knee re-co? Wherever you looked this year there was value, but with significant risk.

Seaby breaking an ankle is just bad luck. I'm not aware that he's been particularly injury prone. Just obviously would have been a 3rd ruckman behind Cox and NicNat if he stayed at West Coast, but looked like getting plenty of games at Sydney, maybe even as 1st ruck. Roos seems to rate his work this year pretty highly.

Anyhow, that's DT 2010 done for me. No easy way out from here. Will upgrade one of them this week, cop a zero, and do the other next week. And wait for the other injuries to hit me

Those last couple of posts don't really help. I am also having this problem, had it for a few days as well so I am not sure what is going on.

Maybe it could be people using Firefox? That's the only thing I can think of.

All I know is i'm using Safari and it's working fine.

There is a thing called Risk vs Reward mate.

Maguire 100k

Ottens 250k~ cant quite remember his price because i didnt once consider him.

But i think this shows that the Reward outways the risk with Maguire. While the RISK outways the reward with Ottens.

Similar situation to Waters, im guessing you didnt pick him if you didnt pick Maguire. Or did you?

I guess you have learnt a valuable lesson.
