I agree. Ill admit i was worried about Ziebell during the Match but then in the last quarter his 46 points he racked up showes his potential especially in the wet. IMO more TOG = DT tons

Yeh true but u have to remember the reason that he, Hmac, Anthony and a few others went nuts in the last quarter was because we basically gave up and fell asleep.

I thought our intensity and pressure was good for 3 quarters but we massively dropped off in the last quarter. If we played a 4 quarter game, i don't think ziebel and hmac would have scored that highly.

This week will give us a better indication of the North players

I play in a fantasyfooty comp. The scoring is the same as DT but there is a draft, a player can only be owned by 1 team (total of 12 teams) and there are no prices.

For interests sake my team is:

Backs: Gilbee, Hodge, Duffield, Adcock, Carrazzo, Mackie
Centres/ Ruck: Boak, M.McVeigh, J.McVeigh, Swallow, B.Ebert (WC), M.Clark
Forwards: Betts, O’Keefe, Ziebell, Medhurst, Harvey, J.Kennedy (WC)
Bench/ Emerg: Ballantyne, Ladson, Waters, Yarran, Gray, Shuey, Dempsey, Hooper, Hayden, Greenwood

Anyway, given the scoring is the same, so this is a purely expected-performance question.

Should I start either Ballantyne, Ladson or Yarran over Brad Ebert or Andrew Swallow? I.e. Will any of the first 3 score more than any of the last 2?

Malceski is the better option of the two, but if you didn't start with either of them then you are probably wasting a trade to get one in.

i have malceski.

i was considering downgrading mackie for kennelly 2 who could average the same, or harry obrien. personally i think heath shaw will score +125 again this week.

New to dream team this year, I joined a public league when I made my team last week and I want to join another league(my understanding is that you can join up to three leagues) but it's not giving me any option to do so. I can't even leave the league I'm currently in. The blue bar where it's supposed to give options of joining more leagues just says "public league", with nothing else.

Am I not able to join more for some reason?

Who to start Shuey or Trengove

Trengove
Cons
- Plays collingwood who limited the dogs scoring
- Will play in a losing side and losing sides score alot less
- Has only scored above 67 once in his 5 games of AFL incl NAB.

Pros
- Really came of age in the last half and adjusted well to the game
- Collingwood last year i think gave away alot of points and 100's
- has shown he can score big with a 105 in NAB and has only scored under 60 once in 5 games incl NAB.

Shuey
Pros
- scored 85 last week (good form)
- plays port in a game they should win and WCE have greater numbers
- scored 49 in less than a half, score 74, 57 in NAB
- plays on subiaco oval in which his elite fitness should help

Cons
- kicked 2 goals which were worth about 20 extra points to him, however he is finding a knack of kicking a goal a game.

From this im leaning towards Shuey instead. If hes named on the field ill definitely pick him even though these sides don't mean much.

After your team has played one round you can't change your leagues anymore.

i agree. shuey is a better prospect, could end up being the best of the midfield rookies alongside barlow.

I have the spare money to make a straight trade of Gray up to Brennan, and would still be left with $20,000 in the bank. I was willing to ride Gray's injury out, but all of this conflicting info about when he will return has me nervous. On one hand the team injury lists indicated Gray was a 'test' for this week, whilst on the other Williams said he is no guarantee to play next week and is no certain starter for the one after.

I'm shifting to the dark side, any advice?

I think you have to ask yourself: When Gray does come back, is he capable of reaching the form you expected of him when originally choosing him?

While I think he will eventually come good it will probably take him a while to get there. If he has a lower back complaint it is more than likely affecting his hammy's and therefore his fitness levels.

ANother question to ask yourself is around his ability to remain injury free over the course of the year.

Thanks. The reason I asked is because I saw Black in & under a lot on Thurs night, & he made quite a few tackles where the ball carrier would just get a handpass out at the last moment ... yet he only scored 1 tackle for DT. So the bolded seems right.

Different statisticians also see it differently. Im sure there told to follow basic rules but i remember a few years back when teams played in Adelaide. The players used to have really high tackles or not many tackles at all (cant remember which way).
