Funny I was just thinking the other day how little interest the trade period holds for me this year, yet in a way the draft is crucial for our about to be dynasty, we already have some great kids that will take the place of some of our current premiership players(may they permanently be blessed by the footy gods), add Naish under father and son and another 1st rounder and we should be able to stay thereabout for quite a few years yet.

Totally agree.
We may trade in a second round pick or two, but there just isn’t the anticipation that trade week normally carries for us. The national draft on the other hand will be very important and interesting.
