Campbo was a very good player indeed and Paul Colberts ability to evade players nearly half his height at ground level was the best ive ever seen. Peninsula nearly had gv done up at Deakin a few years ago....but 5 minutes from Campbo up fwd put paid to that !!!!. Both rippa fellas too

Would put a bit of a dent in Bulldogs midfield structure if confirmed. They would need these types of injuries a few weeks out from the first round.

You are very passionate towards your club lion and why wouldn’t you be Sensational they were in that era winning a s**t load of games and premierships I can remember in early 2000 footy critics believed at the time the lions would be better off in the Bendigo league then bang 3 in a row plus 2 reserve flags keep cool mate cheers!!
Personally, I'd prefer to spend time in Syria than go to the Bendigo League

it's interesting but there still continues to be rumours of change on the horizon . in some circles that includes echuca and rochy joining the Bendigo league , Mansfield and Benalla to the O&M and Rumba to the GV.

The whole thing stems from me telling him how their lot were "openly " giving the likes of Seymour and others a backhander for recruiting out of town. ...i even had a 2005 copy of the weekender where the Rochy club notes scribe does exactly that !!!....if thats not whinging i don't know what is......the Rochy players were no better at the time.....and don't get me started on there supporters !!........anyway. ....im gunna drop the subject like 3rd period french !!!!
I believe it is in their long term best interest for Echuca, Rochy and Moama to join the Bendigo League. I also think the BFL would prefer those 3 than Castlemaine, Maryborough and Kyneton.
