Anyone watching? Just started and already hard to watch it as a Freo supporter, but geez it pumps you up for the season.

I have not seen any replay of the game or any highlights for that matter. We watched it on the big screen in freo so actually don't remember much of the game at all. Always wondered when if ever i'll watch a replay of it. Maybe right before I watch a replay of our first premiership

I recorded it and have since actually suffered through it twice as well as being there. It was one that got away alright.

I was there on the day, and I've 'nearly' seen the TV replay a few times, but just can't seem to bring myself to watch it!

I watched the second half and bits of the first. It is s funny game. It never feels quite like we are in it. Every time anything starts going our way we do something stupid or the ball bounces their way or they get a terrible umpiring call in their favour.
And yet we are quite close at one point.

You might not have noticed but a lot of people here live and breathe football and the only grand final appearance for a club that has such poor onfield performance as our club has had in its history might be a pretty important part of their lives.

I hate that we lost but I will never forget how I felt through the entire finals series thinking that it might actually happen, we might get there and we might win it.

it was amazing that feeling. i still can't believe how i felt when we beat Geelong. When Hill kicked that goal. Then thrashing Sydney. .

on the subject of looking forward how cool is it to be able to say with some confidence that we won't get embarrassed first game of the year in Melbourne against one of the absolute heavyweights. not so long ago I would be praying for us not to be humiliated, wouldn't have dreamed we might win!
