Agree on this one. The lack of hyphen use in these scenarios previously has led to a heart murmur or two. Thanks bob for getting it in there.

Great news about these two, Green has show some steady improvement as the year has gone on, dare I say it a similar level of improvement Banfield showed a few years ago? Lets hope he continues on this course and doesn't take a detour (although he was definitely a better player as a junior than banfield so this shouldn't be the case)

Beams has a bit less exposed form in the seniors but he looks to have the attributes to make it. Lets just hope he continues to get games in the last 3 rounds.

Geez as great as it is locking up these guys now 2014 is going to be a nervous year given all the contracts that are expiring that year. Our youngsters won't be so young any more and if their development continues will probably be attracting a few suitors by then.

Plus it removes a few more counters from the about-to-be-seemingly-interminable 'joy' of 'trade week' speculations and 'offers' from other club's supporters. I am happy when any of our guys re-sign actually - and happier if it is someone I have positive expectations of (eg the title-mentioned beams and green) as opposed to someone where I have to mentally grit my teeth and assume that somebody in coaching land has a better idea (which they do) of their value whether I can see it (or read about it on here) or not....
