NRL website are saying GI has gone to the Broncos (along with Ben Hannant) and White has gone to the Raiders....

Im starting to wonder how the Broncos will be under the cap.... doesnt help when the NRL doubles marquee player allowance

LOL @ the Brisbane sooking. 10 weeks ago were being dubbed the baby Broncos + have been relieved of the AFL players salary. One team got caught, deal with it.
-----------------

Tug, yep this goes a LONG way towards getting Melbourne under, and in terms of their competitiveness next year is massive.

I'm a huge GI fan as you know, BUT this is a positive step for the club. They should now be able to put a competitive team around those who remain.

I'm more gutted about White leaving than Inglis.
Hopefully we can be competitibe with a roster of, say:

1. Billy Slater
2. Matt Duffie
3. Dane Nielsen
4. Chase Stanley
5. Justin O'Neill

6. Gareth Widdop
7. Cooper Cronk

8. Bryan Norrie
9. Cam Smith
10. Sika Manu
11. Todd Lowrie
12. Kevin Proctor
13. Adam Blair

14. Ryan Hoffman
15. Jesse Bromwich
16. Sione Kite
17. Atalea Vaea

How can the Bronco's have 3/4 of the QLD origin team playing for them and still be under the salary cap?
And then bring in two more origin players in Hannant and Inglis for next year.
I hope that the NRL auditors are doing there due dilliagance and are going over both sets of the Bronco's books cause there is no way they can be under the cap

Folau is gone don't forget. And Storm will be paying some of GI's contract as well.

I thought Hoffman was going to the UK next season....

Yes, my bad. Thanks for pointing that out.
Maybe Quinn then (shudders) although I have heard Ben Cross might be coming back and that the young Dragons lock Jake Marketo is as good as signed.

This is 2010 remember.

Hunt gone, Folau gone, Civoniceva gone, Taylor gone.

They have Lockyer, Thaiday, Hodges and now Hannant and Inglis. Peter Wallace has played Origin for NSW so counts also.

Take a look at the rest of the squad though and try to work out what they would be on.

White, haha funny stuff

What's the bet with Bellamy no longer destroying NSW, this Pillow never gets selected again?
I couldn't care less what NSW do. White is a more than capable NRL player and I would have preferred him stay than go.
I hope Inglis is happy in Brisbane where his every move will be watched like a hawk.

You can't be serious. More like Broncos only got 2 players in the Queensland State of Origin squad, Lockyer and Folau (who is leaving). What an embarrassing statement to make honestly  Brisbane's side is filled with youngsters they pulled out from their under 20's, people weren't giving them a chance at even being considered for the top 8, Brisbane have proven the doubters wrong again. Now they will get at least one quality player cheap in Hannant whose family hates Sydney and Inglis who is obviously taking a pay cut to join the broncs :thumbsu:

He cannot take a pay cut. He will still get paid his $660k per year contract, some of it by the Storm. Make no mistake Ingli$ would not have taken a pay cut for anybody.
