Taking everything into consideration, ie prospective costs and what we would probably need to give, who would you prefer us to draft? I'm a Griffo man, 202 cms, 97 kg, is more developed physically and will come a lot cheaper both ways. Plus, came off the rookie list ala Cox, Sandilands, Campbell and pretty much every good player on our list already.

Neither. Warnock if I had to choose but I'd rather not. Griffen isn't even an option, it's about as likely as us trading Deledio. Although it shouldn't be, because you know, Lids is next years Brownlow Medallist and all...

Warnock might not be that pricey.
Having made his intentions clear to Freo, he will be willing to sit tight and go to Melbourne. Therefore Freo may feel its better to get something than nothing. Maybe a chance to send JON home in a deal? Might be just what both the club and JON need.

All I want from this off season is a ruckman who can step up and replace Simmonds, whether that is one we already have on our list or one we trade for or one we draft I don't care, just get one.

Having read an article today where Meyer's name was mentioned as one whose future was yet to be decided, we could very easily swap Meyer for Griffin without touching our picks.

I know I've said in the Warnock thread we should trade our picks for Warnock & Mundy but if we can get a ruckman like Griffin for a straight swap of players then I'll be happy.

Griffen is a much better option.
Warnock is all hype, Griffen has actually played some real good footy for Adelaide

Yeah, you'd think he would be keen on the Dees so he can play with his brother. Always a tricky proposition - blokes get inflated figures when they're wanted by more than one club. Only played 21 games, hasn't shown a whole lot - and Freo didn't have anyone else to back up Sandilands so he pretty much had to play when he was available. He might be OK but any better than what we have in reserve?
